i've never really been a watch-wearer, so i wasn't keen on spending hundreds on an apple watch. this watch is great if you just want something simple, durable, water-proof, and appealing to the eye! i have pretty small wrists, so i was nervous this would look too big and bulky on me, but it's PERFECT. i've worn this watch in the shower multiple times and it is perfectly fine when getting wet! i've had no issues with this watch so far and i've had it for 2 to 3 months now and i wear it every day. the velcro has held up great too!

I had a Shark watch in the 80's, and gifted the "Freestyle Shark Mini Leash Mint Unisex Watch" to my daughter for the holidays. She's 8 and she found it very fun and functional. She loves the color, and the size of the mini is perfect for her smaller wrist. She especially likes the stop watch feature and clock timers. Great watch, great brand!

I really like this watch - the mini looks like a more normal size watch, rather than the oversized regular ones. Love this color, too. Haven't worn it in the water yet but nice to know I could.

Do NOT buy this watch if you are looking for something to swim or surf with. This watch is NOT waterproof. I was willing to invest in a more expensive watch because it's advertised for surfers, but I've had $10 grocery store watches that lasted longer than the shark watch. After a few months of swimming laps, water got into the watch face and it watch stopped working entirely. I contacted customer service about this issue and they said it could be fixed or replaced, but with a $9 shipping fee. While their response was prompt, I was very frustrated that they asked me to invest even more money into a product that can't even meet its basic advertised qualifications.

Nice watch for kids, teens and functions properly....but come on....the price! Knocking a star off for the price. The only reason I paid this much is because I thought (from my daughters review of the product) that it was gonna be something special. Ugh...nope! You are merely paying for the brand name. Can get similar watches at a regular old store that do the same thing for less than half the price. Would not buy again simply for the price, but giving it four stars because it does what it says and arrived quicker than normal

I really like this watch it functions just fine the way it is intended. I have small wrists and hands it’s not too bulky. My only complaint is the Velcro band tends to pick up lint from the inside of my sleeves and stick to them no matter what I do.
