Does this brush seem to be painful to use on your pets?** A: It probably depends on your breed of dog I have a Golden Retriever with a very thick coat. I've not had the "brush" (it's more like a rake) very long but my dog has shown no signs of it hurting her in any way. I've recommended it to a friend who has a Corgi, but I don't think she's received it yet. I highly recommend it if you have a dog with a thick, heavy coat. **Q: Will this work on pitbulls ?? Or any recommendations?** A: I have 2 dogs, Golden-doodle who has a tight curl to his hair and this did not work and I have a Shitzu who has thinner straight hair and this item worked really, really good and did not cause him pain while using it.
