works if u take them away
this is less about the coins and more about how u use them - my 7 and 6 y/o adjusted to them pretty quickly - as an example i was surprised by their reaction when i took them away for not listening - they really do work and i have the babysitter and others using them to help them learn about working hard for what they get - when they listen to mom and dad they earn coins which results in getting small toys or other rewards like treats etc
