*Update* when it's dark outside and the lights are on in the house, you can't see outside. Not great for front doors when somone rings the doorbell.I bought the black and silver film for the front part of my house. The first 3 pictures are of the black film; the window above the door doesn't have any film. The last 2 pictures are of the silver film. The top part of my windows don't have the film so you can compare. These pictures were taken on a rainy day with lights on inside but I'm told it works better on sunny days. I would buy again but not for privacy reasons.

I was super excited to put these on our bathroom window, as the window is in the shower. I installed it today, and followed the instructions, however it is not a mirror on either side. You can see right through the windows when the lights are turned on at night time. I even tried the opposite side to see if I had it on wrong, and you could still see straight through. I am very disappointed as I really needed this to work.

My Patio door needed a film to avoid the bright sun light coming thru it and heating up the room. AC would work double hard just to keep up with the heat.After putting this film on, it has made a big difference. At least if I want sunlight, i can use my blinds to control it. AC usage has dropped and house keeps it cool.End of the day its saving.This is also a one way film, so the neighbours cant peek inside.MUST BUY!

I had to tone down the moon and sun on my daughter’s clock. The sun is the dimmed pic with tint. The only tricky part is getting hold of the backing. It’s on the convex side. I didn’t even have to clean the clock or use the soapy water. Just peeled and stuck. It sticks well.
