Great book for little ones.
Sturdy flaps for little ones to open. Great colors to catch their eye too.

Age appropriate Explanation of events
My son enjoyed this flap book - it was simple and a fast read, great as the nights get more crunched for time. The flaps are sturdy enough and I like the relevant images beneath. The book was not necessarily the most historic version of events but I think it is highly appropriate for the audience it is targeted for and had my 4 year old asking questions that led to great discussions.

Baby loves it; the historian in me...ehh
My 1 year old baby loves this book. It was delivered today and I've already read it over a dozen times. I've taken off a star because I'm a historian and I really wish people would do their homework. Despite the fact that it's an inoffensive telling of Thanksgiving (a win!) the illustrations are historically inaccurate. I admit this is probably not an issue to most people but it really irks me.

Fun history lesson for little ones
I had been looking for a simplified historically true rendition of the first Thanksgiving for small children. But that isn't easy to find. My 2 year old and 4 year old granddaughters enjoyed the story and the flaps to open and they stayed engaged with the book. I was able to assure them that this was a true story. The pages are bright and colorful. I recommend it to enrich your little ones' enjoyment and understanding of the holiday.

Great Way to introduce Thanksgiving to Little Ones
Very great book for introducing the concept of Thanksgiving to little ones. The illustrations are simple but nice. The text is simple as well but tells the story of Thanksgiving in a nice, easy to understand way. Only complaint is that some of the flaps are very small and hard for little ones (whose fine motor skills are still developing) to open.

Great for a 3 year old
The book is a bit short but my 3 year old loves it. That's the age they really seem to pickup on things and he loves Thanksgiving.

Good introduction to Thanksgiving
This little board book is a great conversation starter to introduce kids (my PK class) to the story of Thanksgiving. I used it several times in my Thanksgiving unit and they seemed to enjoy it. They pictures are a little generic, but that's what a picture walk is for. I'm going to continue using this book for years to come.

Cute but useless
Cute illustrations but the story is absolute rubbish and the flap reveals hardly contribute much to the story.

Great
What a great and easy way to teach kids about the basic meaning of Thanksgiving. The little lifting flaps really make the book interactive!

A pleasing rhyme to introduce the concept of the first Thanksgiving in the US.

Me encanto la explicación
La manera en la que viene explicado el día de acción de gracias está súper digerible para los niños, mi niño de 3.9 entendió el sentido de la celebración . A mi Niño de casi 2 le gustaron las ventanas
