Glad I went with this.
I was looking for an option to cover a patio to keep bird droppings off of the furniture and decided to look to see if there was anything like this. I found out that this is an affordable, and easy to install option. I had to cement a couple of poles, which was the hardest part of the job, to attach one side of this shade, but installing was a breeze, even by myself. It was 103 on the day I put it up, and immediately after I brought the shade up, it felt 20 degrees cooler. It still lets most of the light through, but protect everything underneath.One suggestion...don't use the nylon rope that is sent with the shade. It unravels easy and is not that sturdy. For less that 10 bucks you can buy a spool of 50 feet of vinyl covered wire that you can use that will hold up much better. I am now looking to buy a few triangular shades to put up in other areas. This is a good option for shade if you need it.

Great product
Very easy to put up. Made my outdoor courtyard usable for the summer. Sturdy fabric and the rings made it easy to attach to the eyebolts with a carabiner.

Hold water
Tends to slowly release rainwater, so it can sag very low and may need to tighten after heavy rain. Love the shade, easy to put up, overall would purchase again.

Get multiple small shades
There are imperfections in the fabric that are very noticeable and it is sagging in the middle. We had to run a line through the middle to hold it up. It is still very hot in this shade and rain comes right through as well.

had 2 tears in the sail
had bought at the end of the season last year after a move. had not opened the sail up until last week to put up on patio. had 2 tears in the sail that would extend significantly with tension. product with tears in a sealed bag. return date closed months ago. stuck with a worthless sail

Fantastic Sun shade!!
We have had this sun shade for over a year now and I can say it was a fantastic purchase! No rips or tears despite being in some REALLY heavy winds... immediately cools our hot deck by at least 10 degrees. Way beyond our expectations for this.
