The first DJ set I have ever purchased great for beginners easy to use and set up.Sound-The sound quality isn't the best I have heard but if necessary I would recommend it it can fill up a hall.Lights-The lights are great but not as good as some stage lights but I would recommend it for a party.Deck-The deck is amazing, really easy to understand and has everything and more that you will need to throw a party.All in all it is a great deck and I would definitely recommend it to anyone,there are only a few down sides like speaker quality and lights but that's all.Compatible devicesMost devices work with it.I would recommend to everyone so if your looking for a DJ set this is the one for you, thank you.AMAZON PLEASE READ!!! 10/10 for the money i would go for the speakers

Serato is not on iOS and does not work on any phone or tablet. iOS apps do not support this controller none of them. Customer service is a voice mail most of the time and they don’t have a clue why it doesn’t work on iOS either, not helpful. Speaker has a nice sound for 10w and if your on iOS that’s what your buying a 10w speaker that has lights and buttons that don’t work. Remember this doesn’t work on android either it’s totally in the past. I would not recommend even if you was using a pc due to how almost obsolete the technology is.

Bought this for my 9 year old son who has been using DJay Pro on his iPad. He quickly learned how to use the controller in sync with the software and the attached speaker has a good sound for a lounge setting.

This week I received a replacement of the Numark DJ party live mixer that I purchased for my 7y.o. son in Amazon. The first one was faulty, so we decided to return it and buy a new one. However, when looking at the box of the new one, I noticed that this was a product for the US market and I found a Warning notice stating:"This product can expose you to chemical products including Diisononyl phthalate, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer".After some searching in Google, I found that the Office for Product Safety and Standards in the UK has banned the use of these kind of plastic chemicals since 2008 and extended to the diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP) since July 2019. Anyone placing non-compliant products on the market after 22 July 2019, knowing they are non-compliant, will be liable to prosecution under the UK regulations.

Bought for an 8 year old budding superstar DJ. Very exciting until extensive research made me realise that the only way to make it work properly is by purchasing expensive subscriptions to App's.Basic "Lite" apps won't even let him do basic things like record his mixes.We bought the connector so he could use it with his IPad but the the app for IPhone / Ipad won't even use the deck as a controller until a annual (£50+) subscription is purchased - so to me the product is falsely advertised.£120 was enough to spend on an 8 year old and the fact the product won't work without subscriptions ruins it for us.Good Product - False Marketing - Expensive add ons. Poor overall experience.

Voilà une petite platine DJ, bien adaptée pour les néophytes, pour peu qu'elle soit associée à un bon logiciel, celui fourni est à mon sens un peu trop light. Les pad, les boutons ne font pas chip et fonctionnent très bien, le jeu de lumière intégré et un peu gadget, mais a le mérite d'être présent, les haut-parleurs feront pas vibrer les murs, mais permettent un contrôle correct pour une qualité honorable. Je recommande ce produit.

Mi sono avvicinato a questa console quasi per gioco e perché il prezzo era veramente abbordabile, devo dire che ti fa nascere la passione di giocarci subito perché è molto intuitiva e facile, io personalmente con il software serato che è consigliato e dato gratuitamente in uso non sono riuscito a configurare il mio laptop, probabilmente un problema solo mio o di pochi altri devo dire che l'assistenza sia del software che della console ha risposto tecnicamente in modo approfondito ed anche velocemente, ciononostante per farla funzionare ho dovuto utilizzare un altro software che ho pagato a parte ma va bene così perché molto completo e divertente in abbinata con la console. Potrebbe essere come dicono alcuni troppo basica ma per iniziare e vedere se piace questo hobby sicuramente è la scelta migliore in più non trovo che sia molto limitata almeno dopo un buon periodo di utilizzo magari prossimamente Me ne farò regalare una più complicata ma solo per avere un estetica più professionale tutto lì, sotto l'aspetto pratico A me sembra che faccia tutto quello che deve fare

Zugegeben: Sowohl auf Youtube als auch in nahezu allen Testberichten wird dieser Controller, zusammen mit seinem "kleinen Bruder", dem Party Mix II (ohne Lautsprecher), als absolutes Einsteiger-Gerät abgetan. "Für Anfänger perfekt geeignet, um auszuprobieren, ob einem DJing überhaupt gefällt." "Super zum Üben im eigenen Kinderzimmer." "Besonders praktisch für Kinder, da er so klein ist."Dabei vergessen die Reviewer einen ganz wesentlichen Punkt, der vor allem auf Mobile- und Hobby-DJs zutrifft: Platz ist Mangelware. Und dabei spreche ich nicht von monatelang geplanten Hochzeiten oder Firmenfeiern. Es geht um diese typischen, kleinen, spontanen Homepartys, Geburtstage im kleinen Kreis, Jubiläen in Gasthäusern, Garten-/Grillpartys usw. Da diese Art von Feiern den Großteil meiner Aufträge ausmachen, hatte ich nicht nur einmal mit enormen Platzproblemen zu kämpfen. Mein Hauptcontroller, ein Numark NVII, ist nicht nur sehr groß sondern auch massiv gebaut und deshalb ziemlich schwer. Ihn "mal schnell" irgendwohin mitzunehmen ist gar nicht so einfach und erfordert das Schleppen zusätzlicher Koffer und Taschen. Aus diesem Grund war die Anschaffung eines ultra-kompakten Zweitcontrollers nur eine Frage der Zeit.Zuerst fiel meine Wahl auf den Numark DJ2GO 2. Dieser ging jedoch nach wenigen Wochen wieder zurück, da die Verarbeitungsqualität - selbst für Numark Verhältnisse - unterirdisch war. Danach wurde es der Hercules DJ Control Starlight, welcher sehr hochwertig verarbeitet ist und auf kleinstem Raum alles bietet, was ein DJ zum Ansteuern zweier Decks benötigt. Den Starlight hatte ich nun oft in Verwendung und war jedes Mal aufs Neue beeindruckt, wie viel Power in diesem Winzling steckt. Letztendlich war er mir dann allerdings doch eine Spur zu klein. Es musste also eine minimal größere Alternative her.Bald entdeckte ich im Zuge meiner Recherche den Party Mix Live, der zwar in der Breite nahezu identisch mit dem Starlight ist, dafür aber wesentlich höher und mit größeren/besseren Jogwheels ausgestattet. Als Bonus gibt es noch eine Lichtshow sowie eingebaute Stereolautsprecher obendrauf. Schon beim Auspacken war mir klar, dass dieses Gerät absolut dazu in der Lage ist, eine kleine Gartenparty mühelos zu meistern. Die Verarbeitung ist absolut top und in etwa auf Mixtrack-Niveau. Der Controller ist schwerer als der Starlight, was für einen stabileren Stand sorgt, dennoch wesentlich leichter als große Brummer wie der NVII. Die Jogwheels sind dem Design des Mixtrack Pro FX nachempfunden. Sie fühlen sich gut an, nicht zu leichtgängig aber auch nicht so träge wie jene des Starlight. Fader und Knobs sind in Ordnung und bieten die richtige Portion Widerstand zum sauberen Arbeiten. Die Beleuchtung der Tasten ist leider etwas "zittrig" und der Helligkeitsunterschied zwischen nicht verwendeter und aktiver Tasten etwas zu gering. Für mich ist das jedoch kein Problem, da ich während des Auflegens kaum auf die Tasten schaue.Die Anschlüsse sind erwartungsgemäß dürftig, jedoch identisch mit jenen des Starlight, von daher keine große Umstellung für mich. Alle wesentlichen Anschlüsse befinden sich auf der linken Seite; Der Main-Output erfolgt über 3,5mm Klinke, also dem weltweiten Standard für AUX-Anschlüsse. Im Gegensatz zum Vorgänger Party Mix MK1, welcher noch Cinch-Anschlüsse hatte, muss also nichtmal mehr ein Adapter mitgeführt werden. Als Kopfhöreranschluss steht ebenfalls eine 3,5mm Klinkenbuchse zur Verfügung. Die Verbindung zum PC erfolgt mittels USB-Druckeranschluss, was dem Standard für Controller entspricht. Auf der rechten Seite befindet sich noch der Anschluss für das Netzkabel, welches leider etwas zu kurz geraten ist.Da ich seit etlichen Jahren eine Serato DJ Pro Lizenz besitze, musste ich mir um die Software für diesen Controller keine Gedanken machen. Er läuft nahtlos und flüssig in Serato DJ Pro, alle Funktionen werden erwartungsgemäß ausgeführt und die Latenz ist quasi 0. Als Neuling kann das Thema Software beim Party Mix jedoch durchaus zum Problem werden. Zwar wird die Kompatibilität zu Algoriddims djay Pro groß beworben, funktioniert jedoch ausschließlich mit iOS Geräten (über einen Adapter, der separat gekauft werden muss) und nur für einen 30-tägigen Testzeitraum. Meiner Meinung nach hätte man den Fokus viel mehr auf Serato und DJ Lite legen sollen, anstatt für Apps zu werben, die nur eingeschränkt funktionieren und dann gekauft werden müssen. Das erklärt auch die vielen negativen Bewertungen, an denen Numark letztendlich zur Gänze selbst schuld ist!Kommen wir zum "Aushängeschild" des Party Mix, der Lichtshow auf der Rückseite. Drei ca. münzgroße LED-Scheinwerfer erstrahlen in Rot, Grün und Blau. Sie können mittels einer Taste auf der rechten Seite angesteuert werden und bieten sowohl dem Rhythmus angepasste Leuchteffekte, als auch randomisierte Abläufe. Die Helligkeit ist ausreichend, um in komplett abgedunkelten Räumen ein schönes Lichtspiel an die Wand zu zaubern. Mehr als eine Spielerei ist es aber trotzdem nicht.Zu guter Letzt muss ich natürlich auch auf die wichtigste Neuerung im Party Mix Lineup zu sprechen kommen: Den eingebauten Lautsprechern. Diese bieten pro Treiber 5 Watt/4 Ohm und sind für Räume bis ca. 15 m² ausreichend laut. Klar darf man sich aufgrund der geringen Größe keine Wunder erwarten. Dennoch bieten die Lautsprecher im Notfall ausreichend Wumms und übersteuern auch auf hohen Lautstärken nicht. Wichtig zu erwähnen ist, dass der Controller aufgrund der Lautsprecher nicht wie der Party Mix II ausschließlich über USB betrieben werden kann, sondern einen separaten Stromanschluss benötigt. Es ist dabei egal, ob die Lautsprecher ein- oder ausgeschaltet sind - ohne Strom läuft der Controller gar nicht. Witzig finde ich, dass der Controller auch einen Ein-/Ausschaltknopf hat - ganz so wie ein fast 10-mal so teurer Profi-Controller!Fazit: Der Party Mix Live wird in erster Linie als Controller für Einsteiger und Anfänger beworben. Dies wird meines Erachtens seinem Potenzial nicht gerecht, da er voll ausgestattet daherkommt und aufgrund seiner kompakten Größe wirklich gut als Zweitcontroller für Mobile DJs geeignet ist. In Verbindung mit Serato DJ (sowohl Pro als auch Lite) schöpft der kleine Kraftzwerg sein volles Potential aus und zeigt eindrucksvoll, was auf so kleinem Raum alles möglich ist. Lichtshow und Lautsprecher runden den All-in-One Aspekt für Mobile DJs noch zusätzlich ab. Für ca. 125€ gibt es mMn keinen besseren Mini-Controller!
