I got them to reduce acidity in my mouth after drinking carbonated beverages. They may do that, I can't tell, but they are much longer lasting than I need. They have a very nice mint flavor. ### ⭐⭐ Not a Fan *by L***I on June 5, 2016* Before this package arrived in the mail my prime order of OraCoat XyliMelts Mint-Free arrived and I stated using them. They do not work as quickly as Salese, but Salese Peppermint burns the inside of my mouth and tongue. Hence the faster action. Sucking on a peppermint candy would probably do the same thing. They do not stick to my molars or gums like the OraCoat brand does either. It kind of rolls around in your mouth for about 10 of 15 minutes (maybe me doing the rolling, as it burns everywhere it touches) after-which you are left with a blue gummy bear type substance remnant in your mouth that you must now either swallow or dispose of. I chose the latter. There are twelve of these blue gummy bear type disks in a package. So, with shipping your looking at $1.00 per blue gummy. The OraCoat XyliMelts Mint-Free come 80 to a package for 18.00 Prime, so less than a quarter each. They are made in the USA - Bellevue, WA and are still in Patents Pending status per the box they came in. The packaging is very pleasing and the instructions and info insert is nice to read and quite helpful. They completely dissolve, no gross remnant to deal with. Once you stick it on you can forget it's there and go about your business. For me, the blue gummy was a fiery ordeal (mini ordeal) that I won't be doing again. I will keep the remaining 11 blues in case of emergency, but that's it.
