Does it have corner straps to hold inside duvet in place?

Please watch all the orders you get. It should have loops to hold it in place. If it does not, most likely you have been sent the wrong comforter due to the seller selling out of it.

Does it make you overly hot? Was wondering because of the polyester.

I switched from a cotton comforter and yes it does make me overly hot in the summer. Also, it absorbs heat so well that I noticed the fan running full speed on my laptop when I left it sitting on the bed for a few minutes. Having said that, the feel and quality are incredible, especially for the price. If I lay down on top of it, my bed feels like a cloud. I'm just looking for a cooler version for the warmer months. Any suggestions would be welcomed!

Can the twin xl size fit in a standard washing machine?

I don't have the XL, just the standard twin size, and it fits in our washing machine, which does not have an agitator.
