Seems like a decent cable, but the d-tap jack on the cable I received was loose in my v-mount batteries. I'd look elsewhere.

A nice cable. Both plugs are strong and the cable is very cool. That aside, 25 dollars is a little much for a cable.

This Lsyrial D-Tap to Locking 5.5 cable is about $10 cheaper than some of the name brands, and it leaves me wishing I spent the the extra $10. I ordered it as a backup for the cable that connects my Ninja V monitor to my V-mount battery, and it definitely works for that purpose, but when I compare it to a similar cable from Konodr Blue, which cost about 50% more, the difference in quality is apparent. And that leaves me worryng about this cable's longevity. I spent less on this cable because it was meant to be a back-up cable, in case I ever had an issue with the Kondor Blue cable, but I now realize the error of my ways (the reason for having a backup cable is to alleviate worry about a cable failure, now I worry that my low quality backup cable won't hold up to the task). Like me, you will probably be using a cable like this to connect thousands of dollars worth of equipment, and from that perspective, you should probably spend a little more to get a higher quality cable. In the end, I bought a nother Kondor Blue cable, and relegated this one to be the backup for the backup.

Bought 2 if these for 2 lights. One broke after 2nd use. Defective cable. Light kept turning off during wedding reception. Cheap quality.
