This is a long overdue gratitude review for what I believe is the very best B-12 supplement on the market. I have been using this specific liquid formula for many years now. I have a significant B-12 deficiency, and in the past, no capsule or pill ever made the smallest dent in improving my levels. Liquid is the absolute best delivery method for absorption, and the potency of the 5000 mcg strength is unique and just right for my needs. I can clearly feel the difference when I'm not taking enough B-12. When my B-12 levels drop, I feel it immediately during exercise - I lose 'nerve steadiness' in my arms. This B-12 formula is what helps me reliably maintain my workout performance. The liquid format is so effective, easy to absorb, and gives me the necessary strength I can rely on to support my energy and well-being. I have been told by my doctor that I need to take vitamin B12. I'm so happy with this as I also use other Nature's Bounty vitamins. I don't mind the sublingual part at all, no nasty pill. It seemed to dissolve quickly and didn't have a medicinal taste or smell, just quick absorption. From the first use I noticed an improvement in my energy and mood. Even my sister tried it and felt the same boost. The price was just a bonus!

This is a great way to get your Vit B12 in an efficient form. The premeasured dropper delivers the exact dosage to place under the tongue, which is the best way to deliver the sublingual B12. It actually has a very pleasant taste also.

Pretty good definitely works better than the chalky dissolvable tablets. Tasted great and I think it does have a slightly noticeable effect on energy levels when taking. Just be careful with the dropper. Whatever dye is in this (or natural coloring) is VERY strong red and will stain.

I have suffered low B12 for years and tried a variety of treatments including over the counter pills and even B12 shots. The only thing that I found, until recent history, that worked for me was B12 shots which requires a clinic, doctor or weight loss center and can range from $10 to much higher. I stopped using shots, because quite frankly I don't really like needles and weekly B12 injections weren't my favorite thing to do on my days off. I didn't take anything over the counter because quite frankly nothing worked. I recently started seeing a new doctor who decided I needed a full blood work panel, which included B12 and when it came back it was extremely low. The normal range for B12 according to the lab work was 211-946 pg/mL. My results came back at well under 200 and was considered "drastic" by my doctor. The nurse called back and asked me to purchase an over the counter, sublingual (under the tongue) B12 and take it for four weeks and come back in for a follow up appointment. I did my research and purchased this because I wanted to make sure to overcome the "drastic" difference between where I was and where I needed to be for B12. I felt that the liquid would be a better option than the pills which tend to both become and tasty chalky when placed under the tongue. I received this and started taking it as directed, 1 dropper full (1 mL) per day. Since it's considered a "high" dose I was hoping that I would see results. This is 5000 mcg (5 mg) of B12 (Cancobalamin). There are multiple types of B12 which have varying reviews and the doctors office gave no direction on a preferred type. According to the nutrition label it is 83,333% of your normal daily value of B12. The flavor is "natural berry" as many I've tried and leaves something to be desired. It tastes like many of them, minus the chalk texture and flavor. However, the berry isn't really natural. It's not a bad flavor, just very strong. I found that after leaving it under my tongue for the recommended time, drinking cold water to swallow it made it less strong and much easier on the taste buds. I returned to the doctor four weeks later to get my blood work redone and I was preparing for the worst, the recommendation to get B12 shots weekly as my past experience had been. I was pleasantly surprised to say that it worked, and better than expected! My B12 went from well under 200 to over 1000, which was above the "normal" range provided by the doctor. The doctor was excited to see the results and so was I. In four weeks it increased my results by just over 900 pg/mL. Based on the results, I will be decreasing my dose to half a day of the recommended amount to maintain proper B12 levels. Great product and easy to use. Drops are much easier than waiting for tabs to dissolve. I’ve accidentally dropped some on the counters and would suggest quickly wiping away.
