This is a great option for a picnic "basket". The convenience of carrying a backpack (freeing your hands), as well as having an insulated waterproof part makes this much better than the straw "cutesy" baskets. This has sturdy plastic cups and plates, cutlery, and a smallish blanket. I like the look of this compared to some others and the price was good for a 4-person pack. We will use this a lot! Extra bonus--it came very quickly after ordered.

I can't speak to the quality of this bag since I haven't used it yet but I have to say, at first sight, it is quite beautiful. It's well made and the utensils are sturdy. The plates are smaller than what I would like but that's OK for a picnic set. One thing to note is that the knives are sharp. I washed all the utensils and tried to put them back into the slots behind the glasses and sliced my finger on an adjacent knife when I was placing the final knife into place. Just want to give the PSA to prevent others from doing the same. Could be prevented if you don't place all the knives next to each other and place them last. I also purchased a small table/cheese board to go with my picnic bag and it fit inside the bag perfectly. I don't think it will fit both the board and a full load of picnic food but the size of the bag allows for convenient storage after use. Also the acrylic wine glass does fit into the groove of the glass holders for this board which I was very happy about. I may come back and update my review after I use the bag.

Perfect for picnicking at a picnic or beach or outside concert. Good quality, very nice looking, repacks easily. Purchased as a wedding gift and now I want one for my family!

This is a beautifully designed and high-quality product overall. The backpack looks sleek and stylish, and I really love the overall aesthetic. ----However, the straps that hold the fold-out mat on the side were a bit disappointing. They were made with metal latches that felt flimsy and were difficult to use. I think plastic clip-in latches would have been a much better choice—they’d make it much easier to remove and reattach the mat. Aside from that, the functionality and design are impressive. If the latches become too frustrating, you might consider using a simple black ribbon or cord as an alternative for securing the mat more easily.

Used it at the Hollywood Bowl twice and it works great. The cups are decent quality. The knives are sharp so be careful. The bag isn’t huge so can fit a meal for two or snacks for four.

We attended a wedding shower with a “Perfect Date” theme. The picnic backpack was chosen because it could be used for so many different events, hikes or concerts, etc. We filled it with non perishable food items and a bottle of wine. It comes with everything you need except the food! We also chose the four person one instead of two person so they could include friends or have enough dishes and utensils for possible future little ones. The quality is really good and it’s very stylish. So many attendees wanted to know where we purchased it. Oh, and she loves it!

It works great for hikes and date nights. It's worth the money of sure. It's well insulated and good quality.
