This collar is a total lifesaver for small kittens!I've gotten alot of items I like from Amazon but this is the first time in a while I've been motivated to write a review.TlDR: this collar is comfortable and great for small kittens with tiny necks!!Backstory: My rescue sphinx is a kitten and just over 3 lbs. She came to me with an eye ulcer that ended up needing surgery.The vet office had to cut the collar they had in office down to accommodate how small she is (pictured in my second picture) Verbatim they said "this is the smallest collar we've had to make for a patient".The collar was plastic with a nylon collar that went around her neck. Since they had to modify it her ears got squished and the collar was taped shut. She was getting wet food all over it and it was getting dirty quickly.I ordered a different collar before this one. It would have fit her neck but had a massive circumference and would have been impossible for her to manage.Then this one arrived yesterday. I untaped the collar from the vet office and put it on her.LIFE CHANGER.Here are the pros:-It's soft around her neck, with no fur to buffer the edges of the collar against her skin that was extremely important to me-The snaps are SO EASY to do and undo for humans but difficult for cats. She struggled with it but could not pull it off her head or unsnap it. It didn't take long for her to get used to it-i can easily remove it while she eats her wet food so it stays much cleaner then her other collar-Its deep but also very wide. An issue I had with her other collar was it was shallow and narrow so it after like a shovel. Her range of motion was much more limited and her ears got squished down. This collar allows much more range of natural motion.I feel like her delicate eye is much more protected in this collar. She could have rubbed her delicate eye against protruding furniture but this one creates a wide, safe buffer zone to keep her eye protected-Its cute! Much less clinical looking then the one from the vet office and it doesn't look as sad with her wearing itCons-The only one I can think of is the fabric on the outer edges getting dirty.To remedy that I'm purchasing a second one so I can rotate them out to clean and sanitize themI hope this review helps other owners with kittens that are having difficulty finding a collar small enough for them!

After making our 6 month old kitten's spay appointment, I started to research a COMFY version of the E-collar. I read hundreds of reviews and ultimately chose this one. I went back and forth on whether to order a small or medium?! She is very clever, I did not want her to "Houdini" her way out of it. But I also didn't want it to be too tight or not fit. Tough choice. She was perfectly inbetween Sm. and Med. according to size charts. But after reading many reviews I went with the "Small". So glad I did!It arrived in just 2 days thanks to Prime.At first it looked smaller than I thought it would be, BUT it is absolutely perfect and the size small fit her like a glove! Small enough where she can walk/maneuver, eat her food, drink her water, not get it all dirty with litter, yet big enough that she can NOT reach or lick her incision at all! I'm so happy. As you can see in the pictures its the perfect fit. Even for her food and water dish. Sits just over it and doesn't get food or water on it either which I was very surprised. Maybe we just got lucky! Because it is literally the perfect size for her!Most import for us wasWe had a few practice runs wearing it before the big day of surgery, which I highly suggest. My 11 year old son would hold her while I would snap the snaps. There are a few size selections according to which buttons you snap where. We went with the tightest snaps and it fit like a glove. I could easily fit 2 fingers under it near her neck so it wasn't too tight, but no matter how hard she tried she couldn't get it off, and boy did she try lol!Note: I also tried she the looser of the snap option and she got it off herself... but that was before she had her surgery, now that she had her operation yesterday, I have it back on the loosest notch and she is totally comfy and hasn't even thought about trying to get it off herself. But if I have to leave for any reason I would snap it to the tighter snaps while I was gone, just to be safe.As of yesterday 4/26/19, surgery day, My Sadie weighted exactly 5.63 lbs.Her neck is 8 inches around.I ordered the size small. Rose Red (it is clearly pink not red as many other reviews warned me but I wanted to see for myself. Yup, it is pink not red lol )The neck area is soft cotton. It's easy to snap, nice strong buttons, my kitty cant get it off herself but it's easy to snap on. She is sleeping so comfy in it right now♡I am so so so glad I chose this for her and got her used to it before hand. I feel at ease knowing she is used to it and as comfortable in she can be!

I bought this pet cone a year ago to protect my cat's face and have used it several times since! Due to allergies or dry weather, my car developed itchy ears and sores on her face early last year. She kept scratching the itchy areas until her skin ruptured, and would keep pawing off any coconut oil or ointment I'd apply to help her skin stay moist and heal.After researching different types of cones, I decided to get this one. It has a cute design, fits comfortably around her neck, and is secure enough that she can't "slip" through it or unfasten it. It's quick to put on and take off, and she's able to comfortably sleep in it.This cone prevented her from pawing her face and ears with her front paws, and from scratching her head with her feet. After putting it on, I was able to put coconut oil/ointment on her face without her pawing it off, and her wounds were able to fully heal after 1-2 weeks.I love that the cone's easy to clean. Whenever it got dirty from the coconut oil/ointment or litter box, I'd just wash and air-dry it. It's durable enough for reuse.My only complaint (a very minor one) is that the soft padding for the neck area isn't scratch-proof. The cone still works perfectly well, but the fabric of the padding looks quite scratched-up after taking 2+ weeks of my cat's clawing abuse. Again, it's not a big deal to me, but some pet parents may care. Per my expectations, this cone delivered as promised, and I still use it from time to time when she develops seasonal allergies.
