Giant Inflatable 103" Golden Dragon Pool Float - Luxy Float

The kids had so much fun with this golden dragon! Used throughout the summer, held up well. It’s big - just like we wanted. Little bit of leakage after one day of use, but I guess most of these inflatable toys have to be topped off daily. Really recommend this one! It’s a showstopper :)

I absolutely love it!! It's a lot bigger than I expected.

The first dragon I received seemed defective (i.e. didn’t hold air.). I notified company and they immediately responded and shipped out a replacement. I love this dragon and use him purely as decoration b/c i am fearful of him tearing. In spite of not letting the kids touch it, the dragon’s tail seems to be leaking. This is not a big deal for me b/c it only affects a small part of the float. I have been buying pool floats for quite some time and feel that overall quality of them in general isn’t great and that they often don’t hold up well even when they aren’t used very often; however, I feel this is true of nearly any product these days. The dragon is impressive looking for sure. Don’t expect it to hold up well over time.

Really is a blast for the kids. Blew it up with a shop-vac in a couple minutes. Kids used it in a lake for a week, left it tied up to the dock. I was amazed that it survived rubbing against the doc for a week, but it did. Kids were warned not to be too rough with it and with a bit of restraint from them, it was fine. It really is very big, 3 kids could get on it. It held air without needing to be re-inflated. So big, there is no way to transport it while inflated, so figure out how you are going to use a hair dryer, shop-vac, or portable air-mattress inflater where you are taking it. You really don't want to try to do this with a hand-pump.

Used one time in the pool and got a hole from just basic use. Put a patch on it and the found another hole. Very disappointed. It looks cool but cheap material and it was expensive.

I cannot tell you how much we had FUN with this “golden dragon of ridiculousness” (as we deemed it!!!) After this crazy 2020 year, we decided we need an over the top float for our lake week. This was worth every penny! It was a favorite of all the kids, big and small! (And by “kids,” I mean my 21 yr old daughter who claimed the dragon as her own!) It inflated with a pump very easily. There were multiple inflation points, which is nice if one area were to get a hole (it did NOT.) Over the week, it did start to deflate a little with the heavy use it was getting but there were one way valves on the inflation points so SUPER EASY to reinflate. We 100% recommend the golden dragon!!

I buy this floatie once per year for the summer pool months. It's huge. Big enough to fit 3-5 kids on it, aged 12-15. Me and my family always have tons of fun using it. It's always a family favorite; especially when family comes to visit, as the kids are always jumping on it and pretending to play war games and various other forms of fun. It floats well in the water and can handle people jumping on it. I personally like to sit on it by myself when no one's around and either read a book or take a nap. My issue with it is that every summer, at the end, the seems that indent the seat seem to expand and make it so that when you blow up the floatie, it blows up into almost an ellipse which isn't suitable for sitting on. We end up having to pop it at the end of each summer and it ends up going in the trash. This brings into question the durability of said product, but it's actually very durable, especially given how much jumping, shoving, and flopping it can take. My older son belly flopped onto the floatie and it ended up being fine. Overall, the value for the money is somewhat overstated, but there's probably a reason my family keeps coming back to this floatie every summer. If you want a fun summer, I'd say go for it. If you want something that'll last you, I'd look elsewhere.
