Excellent Pocket-knife
This is an excellent knife. This is one of many knifes I own in my collection. I had it for many years and gave it to someone, but I missed so much that I had to buy another one just like it. Is it wrong? I like it it because it is very thin and super light, yet it is tuff and sturdy. If fits easily in your pocket, easy one-hand open/close. Pocket clip is a little two low. It is no problem when you put it in your jeans pocket, but if you wear slacks it sticks out a little too high. Clip can easily be removed and makes the knife even more slim. Blade holds its edge and is easy to sharpen. I can shave my arm hair with it or slice cardboard like they do in cold steel commercial (you knife enthisiasts know what I am talking about). The price is excellent $12 -15. $100+ pocket knives I have are not much better than this one. When I fish, sometimes I stand waist deep in the ocean or fresh water and I don't have to worry about this knife getting wet or corroded. All metal parts. Non-corrosive. It handles water no problem. Use it or abuse it it handles it well. It looks good. The grip fits comfortably in my hand and nonslip texture is great when my hands are wet and slippery from fish slime and guts. I toss it into a diswasher and it comes out like brand new. Much better than my best filet knives with rubber or wooden handles. Only problem is that sometimes screws come loose. Solution is to unscrew them completely one by one, put a drop of thread-lock (or crazy glue) and screw them back in. This solves the problem 100%.The price is excellent $12 -15. I hope you enjoy yours like I enjoy mine.

Quality Tool
I work in a National Forrest and I am continually in need of a good knife for everyday use. Smith & Wesson is one of my favorite companies to buy my gear from. The name is continually associated with quality products for a great price. I have had this knife for almost a year now and it is in just as good shape as it was the day I got it delivered. The blade is easy to sharpen and is safe enough to keep in my pocket without fear of getting cut up. The handle is very study and the on the texturing on the handle serves a couple functions. It is great for strike anywhere matches and for keeping the handle from slipping out of your hand. On a lot of knives the main bolt often comes loose and you have to tighten it over and over again. I have only ever had to tighten the bolt on this knife twice and I use it every day. That is about 15-30 open and close motions a day. I once left my knife open on top of my engine and drove 23 miles until I remembered. The knife had been bouncing around under the hood and got pretty dinged up, but 2 minutes with a file and it looked like new again. I also used this knife on Boy Scout trips and it survived 14 year old boys so I think that speaks to it's durability. As an Eagle Scout and someone who relies on his knife everyday to help get the job done, I recommend the knife 100%. It is a great gift for your son or daughter who loves the outdoors and I assure you that husbands will love having a tool like this on them no matter what line of work. A great product for an exceptional price.

Great quality for an inexpensive knife.
Right out of the box I could tell this was a fairly well made knife. The spine jimping is effective and the knife came very sharp. The pocket clip being so low on the knife makes it ride fairly high in the pocket, but if that's not a problem then this knife is good for you. Deploys smoothly and it has "Smith&Wesson ExtremeOps printed on the blade. I kinda dig that, but to each his own. Performs great, and 440C (probably not what it actually is) is not a bad steel at all, especially at this price point. My first S&W/Taylor and definitely not my last. Highly recommended for $13. *EDIT* I found this video on YouTube by cutlerylover, one of my favorite youtubers. Apparently this knife is a counterfeit. [...] the section about this knife is at about 5:55. So if this is true, and I believe it is after doing some searching myself, I'd stay away from this model. If you still want to buy more power to you, but I don't want to support counterfeiters.

Nothing remarkable, certainly not for Extreme Ops
I purchased several of these to give as casual gifts for co-workers. I find a knife a very useful tool. There's nothint special about these S&W knives. In fact I find them somewhat below S&W standard having owned a fantastic one. There's nothing inherently wrong, the steel is adequate and comes utility sharp. I haven't and won't bother to put a keener edge on any. Relatively inexpensive, if it breaks you won't care very much, but expensive enough you should expect it to not fall apart on you. I'm wouldn't want to rely on it in a pinch, but it's adequate for day to day or light industrial use. Stamped patterned metal grips not effective in extreme cold or when wet.

Decent knife, but hard to get a good edge
This is an apparently well built knife, reasonably light for a belt clip knife. It opens smoothly, closes easily, so far it stays where I put it. There are three problems I've noted. 1. It's hard to get a decent edge on the blade. Not sure why this is. 2. The catch that is supposed to engage to keep the blade from closing sometimes fails to do it's job, which is a substantial safety concern 3. It's a little slippery, due to the highly polished surface, another potential safety issue. For the money, it's a decent purchase, but there are better belt clip knives available. I would definitely not recommend this for a young person's first knife.

Awesome Knife.
I've owned this knife in the past and was bummed after loosing it one rainy night. Once I found it here on Amazon I knew I had to have it again. BTW it is very light yet sturdy at the same time.

Great value!
I was very surprised at the quality of this knife. The blade is stiff and hard to open single-handed. However, once opened the blade is rock solid. And I mean you can not even wiggle it in the least. Never had a folding knife with such a good blade lockup. And the blade is razor sharp. Overall I am very pleased with this knife and would highly recommend it.
