See You Later, Alligator

Love, love, love! This one of my favorite books purchased this year! My grand kids and I have used the saying "see you later alligator" for years so when I saw the title I had to purchase it. Did not disappoint. It's the story of a turtle who decides to go on a journey and he must say good bye to all the animals in the zoo! Adorable!

This is a really great book and although it was simple, it allows the readers to engage it in their daily life especially younger kids. The phrases are simple and short enough for little ones to remember and I really enjoy seeing our daughter say goodbye to her friends after school in the not so traditional way of : ‘see you later, alligator’ or ‘It will be a while, crocodile’The book also rhymes making it that much funner to read. The pictures are great with an array of animals and lastly the story does have a theme with a rather funny ending that makes you giggle.Definitely recommend to parents as well as a great gift idea to families with little children to all enjoy reading.

Cute rhyming book. A must for anyone who as a joke says to their grandchildren, "See you later Alligator". It gives other rhyming words to say "goodbye" to other animals. Very cute. Great for a child who is learning rhyming. Would recommend.

Great book for our toddler! He really enjoys the pictures and story. All the animals are fun!

One of my fondest memories as a child was my dad and I saying these rhymes. Love how the book kept rhyming. Amazing.

My 3 year old son loves this book! We are really working on saying “goodbye” when we are leaving or guests are leaving. The fun ways that the tortoise says goodbye to all of his friends has helped my son have unique goodbyes for people he says bye to. Plus, the rhymes are helping him with his speech. He smiles knowing which funny rhyme is coming next!
