Blazing Fast and Brilliant OLED Screen!
I have been using this Swift GO 14 (SFG14-72-72YK) for about a month now. It is blazing fast, booting to Windows 11, opening apps and so on.I also added a 2nd NVMe (1 TB) inside the slot, this is much better than attaching an external storage. It has been running quietly, once in a while the fan kicks in, but it goes back to silent after 10 seconds or so.I also like the Acer LiveArt app (pre-installed), in which background removal tool is very nice and gets the job done quickly.I also have Adobe Photoshop and use the background removal tool, which requires a few steps. This Acer LiveArt is just one click and done. This Swift GO 14 is a powerhouse and brings a lot of features at a very affordable price!!!

Good value, runs hot
Likes* Bought it at 799.99 which is good value for the hardware.* screen is very vibrant, thin bezels* overall feels very snappyDislikes* When on, with lid closed: fans constantly going off and on. Feels like the fan curves are not set correctly. The BIOS has no settings to adjust them.* Overall, runs HOT, quickly, especially when downloading large files at high speed* Acer bloatware, hard to figure out what you want to keep and remove.* the screen has 2 knobs that act like rubber feet for when the laptop is on a hard surface. Those two tend to dig into your legs when you have it on your lapDespite the dislikes, I am still happy with it.

Great for College student
I purchased this for my daughter for her first year in college and it worked flawlessly. No issues all year, it’s light weight, and no issues with the battery lasting.

OK, but not much value in it
I guess I was expecting a better performing computer... that being said, it is good for a first computer for someone in school that just needs a fast computer to do homework and play some games.PROS: fast to start, open and close programs. Very good screen. Large storage capacity and Memory (RAM). and very light weigh which is good for carrying it around.CONS: Short battery life -only lasts 5 - 6 hours (longer if the computer is not active). The advertised 12 hours battery life is why I bought this computer but it falls way short and I'm disappointed with this. The mouse pad is too sensitive and works erraticly if you are not careful (this probably has to do with my heavy handed actions. The keyboard feels rough to the touch and you have to depress the keys kind of hard... this is ok by me except the keys are loud (at least louder than my old hp elitebook computer). Finally, the screen does not go past 105-110 degrees (this lack of flexibility does not allow me to work from my bed or when I'm doing Yoga and have to find the a better position for the screen).I'm glad I bought this computer at a discount on Black Friday, otherwise I would have returned it immediately. Would I recomend this computer? The answer is only if you buy it for less than $500 taxes included... I bought mine for $640 plus taxes and I feel I overpaid! NOT A GOOD VALUE for me.

Runs hot. Too small to read. Horrible battery
My last Acer was in 2009, and I said I would never buy another one. I forgot. The Acer Swift Go 14 SFG14-72 is very hard to read . I can make the icons larger, but then the web pages are too hard to read. I can only read part of the page at a time. When looking at photos on web pages, I can click the gray dot to see the next photo, but I have to scroll up to actually see the photo. once I see the photo, I cannot go to the next photo until I scroll back down to the gray dots. I cannot see both at the same time. I have been trying to fix this since July 2024 (over 6 months). No luck getting any help on Acer community or Acer FAQ. Maybe this review will catch Acer's support people, and maybe they will reply. The PC also runs hot, so I had to buy a laptop stand with a fan to cool it down. The USB fan on the laptop stand drains the battery quicker. The battery lasts about 2 hours when online and looking at web pages. Have not tried streaming videos yet since the battery is not good. No point in buying an OLED screen with a battery like this. The touch screen version does not have OLED screen.

great
I bought this computer for my daughter and it works very well. I also purchased the insurance to go with it. My daughter went off to college and her roommate dropped the computer and the insurance was very quick and responsive. They did not give me any trouble at all about the issue.
