I normally read reviews, but on this, I didn't & am I ever sorry. They basically all said the same thing...don't work well; waste of money. And, I am a few days past return date so am screwed. I will try to sharpen them as I do have a whetstone. What can I lose? They are dull & pull paper so it tears or shreds. Must push very hard to just get through printer paper. I thought they would be good for cutting intricate parts of papers. No dice! The cutting mat is half hard and very thin. Cheap!!! As to the lack of directions, I went back to the ad on Amazon - highlighted & copied the written description, then pasted it into a "Word" document so that helped a little. A different review said there are some U-tube videos that might help. Buyer Beware!

I’m not sure what other ppl are talking about in many of the reviews I read (didn’t read until after I’d order and they had me understandably concerned), because I found them to work very well. I included a video to verify that they work- I still need a little practice in using them but only being the 2nd or 3rd time in the video I’m pretty happy with my purchase - going to make curves and detail work a lot easier and cleaner

This product seems to have little to no quality assurance before shipping, granted it's cheap but the cutting nibs are all extremely blunt, coase grinding marks can be seen.I tried using the cutters on several materials, from thin printing paper up to card stock and on none of them were cut.I wouldn't recommend buying this product.Giving it 2 stars just because it got delivered and the nibs do swivel.

Works as intended.

Rips regular paper, does not cut thru cardstock. The shape is very awkward also. Even if it was sharp I would not like the shape. Is it supposed to help? May be it's me.
