Finally I got something on Amazon that works!
If you want quality, you don't usually go for Amazon's Communist Chineese Party garbage. That's what this fine not Chineese made product replaced. It was a few dollars more, but at least it does what a pepper mill should do. It actually mills pepper.

Buy the cheaper one until the gears wear out in a few weeks and then buy this one, or just buy this one the first time. It’s the real deal.
