Francisco Tarréga: 17 Pieces from the Romantic Era In Tablature and Modern Notation For Baritone Ukulele

Hello Michael,I have played classical guitar for a while, of course still learning a lot... but FranciscoTarrega IS the most famous guitar composerof all time, and I don't think you work hardenough to transcribe these pieces...There's some mistakes perhaps in printing(or you forgot to check ?!!!) . For example inMarieta, measure 3rd, the first beat G+C, theG should be G#...Generally, I hope to getsomething better. But thank you anyway...

Kudos to Mr. Walker for attempting to keep this amazing music alive. But the engraving in this book will surely kill it. I've included photos of only three examples. I could find something on every page just as bad as these. Not only is the engraving horrible, but in Lagrima for example, you've added some different notes in there, like Bb in the second measure? Sounds ok if you swing the 8ths. Also, where is the key signature? And in so many cases, one or two measures after the final page turn. Whhhhhy?

These are wonderful transcriptions of Tarrega and the selection of pieces is fantastic. I am absolutely enthralled with them. While there is an occasional error in the notation most of the poor reviews of Walkers transcription are from people not used to reading multi-voice guitar parts.Love the Dowland transcriptions too!
