Has definitely aided ovulation and helped lessen ovulatory pain.
I'm not a person who believes supplements are supposed to instantly change your life and make everything better. I believe that by fixing issues we have, we reap the benefits years down the line with better helath as we age. I started taking this because I know I struggle with ovulating and have "skinny PCOS". For as long as I can remember, I have had very painful ovulation. Since taking this (4 pills and the corresponding D-Chiro inositol from another company) I have found that my ovulation is no longer painful. I have started taking progesterone as well and that may be helping but I believe that this, in combination with the other things I am doing, seems to be regulating my cycles and making it easier to ovulate. Is it an instant cure? No. Is it an effective addition to your arsenal of remedies to help bolster healthy ovulation? Absolutely. To get the amount (mgs) used in studies of women with PCOS to aid ovulation, you need to take 4 pills. You'll also need to find D-Chiro Inositol as well. This is only the Myo-inositol form. Buying them separately saves you WAY more money than buying the combination formulas. Since I already take a bunch of supplements, it's not that big of deal to me to add a few more pills. The pills aren't huge but they are on the larger side for capsules. Inositol does come in powder form, for those who can't take pills, but I personally consider that way more of a nuisance. However, I also don't have issues swallowing pills. While taking 5 more pills is annoying, I consider it well worth it in terms of my ovulation and eventual fertility. If you have PCOS or anovulatory cycles, this is a must combined with D-Chiro.

Combined with D-Chiro-Inositol this combo has changed my life
I felt like I was dying. I have PCOS and I'm peri-menopausal, and between the physical symptoms and the mood swings I hated life. Every step hurt; I'm not exaggerating when I say that it felt like I had 5-pound weights hanging from each ovary that would swing with every step I took. I was literally living with a heating pad in my lap. And let's talk about the rest of the fun of losing my hair, weird facial hair, dry skin and hair, oh....and the mood swings..... I was horribly depressed then enraged then manic, oh! and here come depression again. Over and over again, day after day. I was in despair and I couldn't get the traditional pharmaceutical care because I have a contraindicated condition that could be dangerous if they messed with my medications. So basically, I was stuck in h*ll and everyone who loved me was stuck right there with me.Then I found Myo-Inositol and (with the doctor's ok) tried it but nothing happened. Then I read about the D-Chiro-Inositol combo and tried it but nothing happened. Then I did some research and found that the "magic ratio" for Myo-Inositol and D-Chiro-Inositol is (1) D-Chiro-Inositol to (4) Myo-Inositol.So I tried it and magic happened. Just 1 day following the start the feeling of weights and cramping from my ovaries stopped dead in its tracks. Six days later the weird hair growth was gone. Ten days later the mood swings stopped and I felt emotionally balanced again. Fourteen days later the dry skin and hair receded and my hair on my head stopped thinning.I can't recommend this combination enough. It gave me back a life worth living.

A Christmas miracle...
I have PCOS. I have been taking this for less then a month because I had a miscarriage almost two months ago and still no period. I was feeling bloated, moody, and having cramps, but still no period. (Yay PCOS! Ha ha ha!)Then, after two weeks of taking this and only being on progesterone for 3 days, I normally have to take all ten days, a Christmas miracle happened! I got my period! I know it's not everyone's ideal gift, but for a women with PCOS as bad as mine it is.My only complaint is my cysts are popping while I am on my period. I have never had this happen and it is awful. I feel like I am in labor and that I my back is going to go out at the same time. Hopefully this is just a one time experience.I have also lost 2 lbs. Lossing weight during the holiday season is alwaysa win!

Pregnant first try with PCOS and Hypothyroidism
My Reproductive endocrinologist recommended this stuff to me three years ago to help get my PCOS under control. I have been taking 2000 mg along with 2000 mg metformin, along with Low Carb diet. My husband and I grateful to God that we were able to conceive the very first time we tried. I have seen research that suggests myoinositol helps reduce rate of miscarriage for women with PCOS, so I will continue taking throughout my pregnancy. All Glory to God!

Make sure you actually need to lower your androgens!
I tried this product due to my PCOS diagnosis, excess weight and family history of diabetes. This product did exactly what it is meant to do but for me, that was a very bad thing. One of the things myoinositol does is reduce androgens (testosterone). That's great if you have high androgens like a typical person with PCOS. Apparently I don't have high androgens because both times I've taken this, it has caused me to have vaginal dryness and lichen sclerosis. I think it's not well known that both of those can be due to low testosterone. My low testosterone was also documented with a hormone test and I'm now working to correct that. I just wanted to issue a warning that lowering your testosterone is not always a helpful thing. For those who DO need to lower their testosterone and blood sugar I think this would be a very beneficial product.
