Is it possible with this sheath?** A: Both the belt ring and metal clip facilitate carrying the sheath vertically. Besides, the closing flap is held with weak magnet and gravity helps keeping it in place. If you wear the sheath horizontally on your belt, the flap might be inadvertently opened if brushed by your swing arm, for example. Good quality sheath. *by A***S on August 1, 2024* After discovering Leatherman no longer sells leather sheaths, my search led me to this brands sheath. I prefer the Perilogics sheath over the Leatherman nylon large sheath. The Perilogics has one elastic pocket that is sown at the bottom and one that is opened ended. If you carry two bit extenders like I do, you do not want to loose either one and especially the ratchet bit extension. It is in short supply and the prices for another one is astronomical as of 7-31-2024. I used industrial strength glue to seal the bottom of the open ended elastic pocket shut. In the future, I will sow it closed if the glue fails to keep it sealed. The sheath is sized perfectly for my Surge. The inner pocket is roomy and is storing my bit kit tray and saw blades. The magnets hold the sheath closed even upside down on mine for now. The clip and belt loop option is a nice feature. My Surge goes with me to one of my tech jobs. I use it most the time I am there. It is nice to be able to quickly remove the sheath from my belt without having to unbuckle it after work.
