A person ordering this based on the provided measurements would find that the dress would be far too large to fit properly. Let's say you have a 44" bust and a 37" waist, so you order the 3X...the bust is going to be 4-5" too large and the waist is going to be 2-3" too large. According to the measurements, I really should've ordered the 4X, but it's HUGE on me. It looks like I'm a child playing in my mother's clothing.On top of that, the reviews say "Fits true to size, order usual size"...but hello? What? I wear an XL in most clothing, MAYBE a 2X in something I want to be really loose...I've legitimately never in my life purchased anything in a 3X, so the sizing is absolutely not true to size. You need to order 1-2 sizes larger than you normally would buy, but at least a size smaller than the size chart tells you to buy. That's confusing as heck, if you ask me.Now, all that said, the dress is adorable. The skirt is heavy weight and the manufacturing seems acceptable for most purposes. I don't know that I'd toss it in the dryer once a week, but it doesn't seem to be the type of material that would shrink easily...still, I'll likely hang it to dry. It did arrive wrinkled because it's folded, but then shoved into a plastic bag for mailing. I'm guessing the wrinkles will come out with a good steaming.I noticed another review said the buttons on the bodice weren't sewn on well, and that matches my opinion.
