I used this while fitting a fish finder transducer to the transom of my little rib and it works a treat to seal up the holes and stop water ingress into the wood. Its great stuff, expensive but worth it. Having seen a few people who use bathroom silicone on their boats and then seen how the boats ended up getting damage over a short period, I would strongly recommend not being cheap and getting the proper stuff which this sikaflex is.

I used it to put the seal back onto my Fitbit watch which had come away in the heat and keep it waterproof and the jewellers wanted £70 to fix so bargain of the year
