A reliable travel converter with no noise
This power converter is great! It comes with every type of plug you could possibly need, plus a nice carrying bag to keep everything together. While it's plugged in, it gives you 3 outlets, 3 USB-A ports, and 1 USB-C port, which is more connectivity than many other similar converters offer. It only has one dim LED on the front to indicate whether it's on, and it's bright enough to tell if it's working but not enough to be distracting in a dark room.It seems really well-built overall, with a solid heft to it. If you plan to take it in a carry-on though, be aware that it might add some unwanted weight to a bag. It's also on the bigger side, nothing unmanageable but it's thick and can take up a fair bit of room. I'd compare it to the size of a paperback book, if you only pack the cable and the specific adapters you'll need. It's also completely silent - I know that some of the cheaper converters have a tendency to let out a quiet whine, but I stuck my ear right next to it and couldn't hear a thing while it was converting UK 220v power.I purchased this specific one since it was a bit more expensive and better reviewed than some of the cheaper options, since I intend to take it on multiple international trips. While there's currently only one week-long trip abroad under its belt, I hope that it'll last a while and continue to work on future trips.Overall I highly recommend this converter, and if you're on the fence about saving a few bucks to get a cheaper one, I would just spring for the added quality of this one.

A must for Europe travel
This power converter is definitely a must-have for travel! I took it on a month-long trip to South America, and its performance was flawless. It can power various gadgets like my phone, tablet and spare battery. Its compact size and the included travel pouch are a big advantage, as it fits snugly in my backpack without adding unnecessary bulk. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Performed well and a fair value
I purchased this converter very last minute after discovering my power wheelchair charger only accepts 110v as we were going to Australia which is 220v. The converter worked well and was able to support the wattage load of the charger even though the charger drew slightly more wattage than the converter is rated. The unit does have a cooling fan and does make a small amount of noise. Please keep this in mind if you’re used to sleeping in a dead quiet room.

Works good
These converters are good. We use them to convert down 220v to 110v since we moved to Germany and some of our tv and hair dryers are american. The issue that we noticed is that it works well we low power appliances but something like vacuum doesn't work. Its not powerful enough to convert that much electricity i guess. It comes with a nice bag and other adapter plugs for ease but we dont use those. I guess we can take our self converting phones and laptops etc and use these adapters.

Worked great
Used this on my trip to Italy. It worked great. We used it mostly to charge cell phones and my curling iron. Didn't have any issues with it.

Don't Buy
I bought this 2 years ago and primarily used it for 3 international trips. On the most recent international trip, it died (when plugged, it shows a green light and the light turns red immediately). I tied all the outlets and everywhere it is the same issue. I came back to the US and tried at a home outlet, didn't work here either. Essentially, it has questionable reliability and not durable at all. Stay away from this if you don't want to be stranded on an international trip without being able to charge your devices.

Great power converter and USB charger for travel and cruising!
I used this voltage power converter on a 4 week trip to Europe. I used it in Iceland, Denmark and Germany. It worked great for all of our 110v US electronics. It powered up a curling iron in the outlet port and at the same time, it also charged 2 mobile phones, an ipad, and a power brick via the USB ports. It charged everything quickly and we didn't have to worry about devices overcharging or things overheating. The red/green light indicator is great so you know whether your device is charging or powering up correctly.I've also used this on a cruise ship. It's great because all cruise lines forbid surge protectors on board. Most power strips these days have built in surge protectors whether you want it or not. We were able to use this converter as a big power strip on the ship! The best part is that most cruise ship cabins have 2 US 110v outlets and 2 European 220v outlets. We were able to plug this into the European outlet which gave us more US 110v outlets for all our devices. YAY!There is a small fan inside the converter that runs when it's in use. It was so quiet that it just faded into the background like white noise. If nothing is being charged, you simple unplug the converter or turn the power switch to the off position. The entire unit comes in a small mesh bag to keep the unit, plugs, and power cord organized. It found it a bit heavy to lug around in a carry on bag for a day of airline travel, so I put it in my checked bag.UPDATE: 5 years after purchase and 2 years of not being used due to the pandemic, this device stopped working properly. The fan started making a high pitched sound that was so loud you couldn’t carry on a conversation.

Great Multi-Device Converter
Purchased for a cruise we took and would be staying over in Italy for a few days before flying home. This worked great for charging and converting our different devices. It is a little heavy but well worth the money for international travel.
