Very Thin Blade - Works Great
This blade is only about 2mm (1/16" ) thick. I use it to saw things when I want to minimize the loss to the saw kerf - such as resawing. Works fine. One recommendation if you use it for resawing - make a light cut first. That is, only raise the blade about an inch and make a cut. Then raise the blade and make a deeper cut.Since the blade is so thin, it can try to follow the grain on a deep cut. If you make the light cut first, it will minimize that tendency.

Very smooth and fast cutting
By far the smoothest fastest and most quiet 10" ripping blade I have ever used. The best choice for my ryobi portable which now effortlessly cuts 2" oak and maple, keeping the blade speed even at a moderate feed rate. The saw now has almost no vibration. Will use on my belt drive saw as well. Highly recommend!

Best saw blade for underpowered saws
I have an old Makita 2703 Table saw. In terms of table saws, this is under powered, but usable for the weekend projects. The Tenryu RS-25524-U blade I put on about 10 years ago worked like a charm. This made ripping wood so much easier, and I could cut up to 2" Oak, where with the Makita blade that came with the saw could not. This is a very thin kerf blade with 24 teeth, which makes quick work of any wood, and it comes out like it was sanded.I went to the local tool store to replace it, and they were out. Tried a Tenryu RS-25540 blade, which works OK, but not as good as this blade. The 25540 blade is 0.111 thick with 40 teeth vs the RS-25524 blade at 0.093 & 24 teeth ( same ATB grind on both blades ). With the 25540 I just need to slow down, as not to burn the wood, and get the same results. If you want a quick cutting blade for any 10" saw, that will give you years of service, go with the Tenryu RS-25524-U blade, you will not be sorry.

A fantastic smooth cutting blade for book-match rips
This Tenryu blade cut exceptionally smoothly. I was able to cleanly and quickly bookmatch rip 5/4 quartersawn Red Oak with no issues. The blade did not seem to load down or struggle with the oak, and I made a large number of cuts with no apparent reduction in the blade's performance.Money well spent - I'm very happy with this blade!
