My 16 month old is 30 pounds, probably a few more than that. He is heavy and hard to carry most of the time. But he loves being carried so I needed to find an option. While it is nice that I only need one hand to hold him instead of 2, there isn’t any place to put anything in it so the pocket Is basically useless. Plus I can’t see it when he’s sitting on the seat so, useless. It also sags down my hip until I need to take him off and re-tighten it. Which runs the risk of him running off cuz he loves exploring, or him losing his crap cuz I put him down. That, on top of being very uncomfortable while it slowly falls down. It pushes my “mom shelf” (if you know you know) into my abdomen which hurts and pulls my already stretched thin skin.
