Good design
Overall great product and good customer service but externall sensor isn't really waterproof. You need to hide it sligtly and protect from rain. Mine stopped works after day of light rain. Stripped, dry using hair dryier and works again after a while.

Great weather station!
This weather station gives me all the information I need. I love the colour display. It is easy to check minimum and maximum data. I have got only one outside sensor running at present, but the display accepts up to three sensors. I use the mains power supply and have batteries installed for back up. The installation and setting of the weather station was a doddle and within minutes it had connected to the server and has been giving me the correct time ever since. It takes a few days until it starts predicting the weather correctly, because it takes most of the information about weather change from the barometer readings. I had it hanging on the wall initially and it was a little difficult to see the LED display due to the angle on the wall. But now it is standing on a table and it is very easy to look at. I have set the times for diming the display brightness so that I am not disturbed at night. Basically, every detail given in the description on the Amazon page is correct and I recommend to read this, because all your questions about this weather station will be answered.

A real disappointment
I received this item on 2nd September. The next day, my internet service provider took away my internet (a long story), and I've only just got it back. It's therefore too late to return this, but I feel I should write a review, because this was a strange experience. First impressions: it worked, straight out of the box. The base unit found the time signal, and found the outside unit (which hadn't gone outside yet). The display is striking, with some odd stylistic touches and weird colours, but so what? When I did put the external sensor outside, I put it in a 'house' constructed of big paving slabs, so that there was no chance of actual moisture touching the unit. There then occurred three big issues. Firstly, the base unit lost the outside unit. Why, I don't know. First, the connexion became intermittent, now it's gone entirely. The unit outside isn't wet. Secondly (and this *is* important), the base unit often can't find the time signal. Now, in truth, you don't need that for the unit to work; once it 'knows' the time, it will keep it pretty well. This unit relentlessly checks that the time signal is OK. One day, it couldn't find it, so it SWITCHED OFF THE DISPLAY to help find it again. (You're supposed to be able to press a button to short-circuit this, but it only rarely works for me.) I was using this item as a clock at night (you can dim the display). Now I can't, because every day, the unit comes on for a while, panics when it can't find a time signal, and then the display remains off for hours at a time, while it looks for a signal it really doesn't need. Why? This just makes the thing useless. Thirdly (and this did surprise me), it is really rubbish at telling you what the weather is, and will be. I don't expect perfection, but other 'weather stations' I've had have been at least 45% accurate. This is comically inept. To take just one example, we've just had eight days here with lots of rain every day (south-west Wales). *Not once* did the unit show any sign of rain: it just showed the sun (i.e. clear/no clouds), or clouds flashing on and off (I'm not sure what that represents, but it's not rain). Even the fact that the barometric pressure was really low didn't persuade it that it was wet outside. I am very cross with this device. Okay, it didn't cost hundreds, but I expected it to be a touch better than the cheapo units you find in German supermarkets. They're pretty naff, but by George, they work a lot better than this does.

Clear display, accurate temperature readings
Clear accurate temperature display, put the remote sensor outside under a plastic bowl to protect from the incessant rain this time of year. Occasionally loses outside temperature signal, so goes blank, just leave it and it will re establish connection which is more than can be said for the radio clock, which attempts to establish connection several times every night and has never managed it, so just set manually against your phone. The control buttons on the side are impossible to use, seem to do something different every time you press them, end up in a complete mess, so just turn off and on again, more effective than throwing it out of the window and then leave well alone. Perhaps could do with a slightly larger clock display, but otherwise a good unit, would recommend. I wonder which part of the world the radio clock is in, not around here anyway, I have relatives in Chine perhaps it would work there.

Unreliable
Very easy to set up and place. Relatively accurate indoors but not so much outdoor. Disconnected constantly and main screen kept flashing. Decided it wasnโt worth the effort so have returned it

Great product
Decent household temperature monitor. Seems accurate and is a decent size. The outdoor temperature sensor connects easily and has worked flawlessly for well over a year. The screen has three different brightness settings from super bright to pretty much off. The middle setting is perfect for most situations. This was bought to replace a Bresser one that broke. This one looks better, lasted longer and was better value for money.

Would really recommend
Fantastic weather station. My last one was purchased about 15 years ago and boy how things have improved. This one is in colour and displays indoor and outdoor temp and humidity. It has a barometer, sunrise and sunset time and moon phase as well as date and time. It has an alarm but I never use that! will purchase another one for my caravan.
