This all plastic Item with whitish strobe light function is obviously not scale to the original prop, and seems overpriced, but is large enough to be immediately recognizable to fans. The labels are printed on the unit. This down-scaled flux capacitor is light weight, but not flimsy and is a novel item for the bookshelf for collectors not interested in building one or paying hundreds of dollars for a screen-accurate device. Very realistic
I love it! I used this as part of a costume and found that it was lightweight enough, and I could plug the USB into my portable battery pack. Be aware that the light is very bright, and it makes the "shield eyes from light" tape label transparent when it's on.
