Great read
I actually read this from the library first. Had to get my own copy to share with a friend. Urban fantasy, but less tied to mythology than other books are. Lots of modern cultural references which I appreciated.

The twenty sided sorceress books 1 thru 6
I happily ran across this series and gobbled up all 6 books in a matter of days. I was a lil hesitant when I first starting reading that maybe it would be for a younger reader than myself (I'm 43) but i found that i understood almost all the gaming puns and loved a lot of the movie references a character might joke about. There were plenty of characters in the books which is important to me. I love lots of characters. I also enjoyed the humor in the book. I didn't mind the continuations nor any cliffhangers. But most off all I was blown away by the twist and the uniqueness of this series. I huge smile for author Annie Bellet on this series. Ms Bellet your mind is amazing and thank you for this journey. I'm eagerly awaiting book 7. Urban fantasy fans you won't be disappointed so purchase this set, make a pot of coffee, curl up in the recliner, shut off the phone, and let your mind go........

fast enjoyable reading with a plot that does not get stuck
Good and fast moving series. They are fast reads and could easily be combined into 4 books instead of 8 but the characters stay true to themselves throughout and are neither omnipotent nor weaklings in need of luck or rescue so it is enjoyable read without lots of hand to head exclamations of how stupid the characters were as typical in this genre. Will continue to read if more in series are done and with both the time and money if you are a fan of magic, shape shifters, and urban fantasy lore.

Urban-fantasy style action in amazingly fun, geek-centric series.
This is a print collection of a Kindle book series about a sorceress who fights evil and runs a comic book store. The references are current, the stories are fun. You can find the series individually on this very site that you're on right now. So convenient! This book is if you need something with pages to flip. The stories remind me most of Jim Butcher’s Dresden Files. Your standard thrilling adventures are present, while the writer explores a thoroughly constructed world that is intricately tied to modern pop culture.Sidebar: The hero's last name is Crow. I support all fictional characters that share my name. Without the E still counts. Most urban-fantasy style books are tied to ancient mythology and folklore, but that’s been done by everyone and their grandma. Today’s mythology and folklore have modern, geeky equivalents in role-playing games, comics, and video games. That modern culture is vital to this series, and I wish I thought of it.(reviewed by Joe Crowe,[...]

A nice weekend read..
Quick reads, likable characters, and a sense of humor that doesn't belie the mystical theme is an apt description of this five-book series from Annie Bellet. I didn't intend to write a review, but after searching Amazon for the sixth book in the series I realized that I've really developed a liking for this community Annie has created. So... grab the set of the first three books and enjoy a quick, well-paced read this weekend. Read the next two, and then anticipate the sixth along with me.
