Auch wenn die Beine keine Kniegelenke besitzen und man die Schuhe nicht wechseln kann (in diesem Fall eher ein Vorteil, da Schuhe in dieser Größe wahrscheinlich nicht produziert werden), kann durchaus mit ihnen gespielt werden, sofern das Kind nicht völlig phantasielos ist. Die beanstandeten steifen Haare können mit einer kleinen Bürste (jede Barbie-Besitzerin hat Dutzende davon) weichgekämmt werden. Auch wenn es einwenig wundert, dass Mattel von seinen üblichen Qualitätsansprüchen Abstand genommen hat, darf doch nicht vergessen werden, dass diese Puppen letztendlich nur im Kontext mit den restlichen 10 Tanzschwestern auf den Markt kamen und nicht den gleichen Anforderungen genügen sollten, die man an die 'normale' Barbiepuppe stellt.
