Much cheaper than any other dashboard for SimRacing!
I recently added the Eyoyo 5 inch Monitor, 800x480 Mini TFT LCD Screen to my racing rig, and it has been a fantastic addition, especially as a dashboard. The compact size fits perfectly into my setup without taking up too much space, and the 800x480 resolution provides clear and sharp visuals. The 140° wide viewing angle ensures that I can see all the necessary information from different positions, which is crucial during intense racing sessions. The multiple video input options (HD, VGA, AV) make it versatile and easy to connect to various devices. The monitor’s metal housing adds durability, and the built-in speaker is a nice touch for additional audio feedback. Overall, this monitor is an excellent choice for anyone looking to enhance their racing rig with a reliable and high-quality dashboard display.

Bright, rich color, high contrast, stunningly sharp, no latency or blur
Absolutely, stunning display, extremely high dots per inch is very legible and bright. I am using it as a small monitor for SCADA and Network Status systems, and my big concern was legibility of tiny type. I have nothing to fear, the eligibility is phenomenal. Check out my screenshots and video.

Perfect for my application
I used this as a screen for my TrueNAS server. I’ve always had a big computer screen and it’s always been a little bit in the way. This is perfect. I mounted it right to the side of the server. This monitor is the same resolution as the standard TrueNAS console screen. I was excited to see that the back of the monitor had threaded holes for M3 standoffs (the same ones used on motherboards). Unfortunately I still had to take the monitor apart so that I could use the backplate as a template for drilling my holes. Disassembling it does void the warranty because there is foil stickers over the screws. Taking it apart was no big deal. 4 screws on the side and you can pop the frame off and gingerly move the screen out of the way before removing the screws to the circuit board. One thing I was surprised by was that it has an internal speaker. If you hook it up to HDMI it would play audio as well. I plugged it into a fire stick to confirm. But I didn’t explore volume controls or anything. All in all it’s a nifty little thing and perfect for what I needed.

Product not as described but fantastic customer support
UPDATE: Eyoyo got in in contact and offered me a replacement for a USB-C version which they still had in stock or a full returnless refund. This is great customer support and I took the refund. After playing with the monitor some more, it's quite a good screen for the price. Nothing like a switch or steam deck screen but it's exactly what I needed Original review: The only reason I actually bought the 7 inch version was because it mentioned a USB-C port for both power and data. Useful for the project I was doing. When it arrived, there was no USB-C port. After contacting Enoyo support, they got back to me: Hello customer, Thank you for your message. Our current 7" monitor is a new version of the revamped one. Because the previous USB-C port was not very stable, we updated it to a more stable 12V DC port. We will update our pictures and description. Sorry for the inconvenience. They have since updated the 7 inch product description and photos. So decent support there I guess. Apart from that, the screen itself is alright. Heavier than I thought and I like the mounting hole and it works just fine off a power bank. But it's two stars purely because it doesn't have the literally one feature I wanted.

Amazing Monitor for PC Builds!
I use this in my PC to have a cool LCD monitor that plays videos or well anything I want! I thought it looked amazing it fits well in my case! This 5in monitor is just about the size of 120mm fans so it fits snugglely between and looks great! The reason why I wanted this particular monitor was for a few reasons, the main one being the HDMI port is on the back! I bought another LCD screen with the HDMI port on the side and I couldnt close my case because the wire stuck out too much! This one is perfect! Also, it can be taken out of it's case and painted or dipped. I saw this monitor on a reddit post where someone shared their all white colored PC builds, he exaplained how he took it out of the case and painted it white to match the rest of his set up! It looked amazing I think in the future I want to do the same. And the last reason why this monitor in particular is better than other's I've tried is because of it's viewing angles! I had tried another Raspberry Pi 5in monitor and it's viewing angles were so bad it, you couldn't see what was on the screen unless you look at it directly. This one can be viewed from every angle and it looks great! I'd highly recommend this for just about any project you might need it for! I hope this review helps someone and if you have any other questions I stream here on Amazon Live everyday! If you follow my Amazon page at Amazon.com/shop/Atarabyte it'll notify you when I go live and you can join my chat and ask me any questions you might have on building PCs, gaming, or even any specific questions about this monitor! I'd love to help!

Mounting Options not clear in Item description.
I could not find a way to mount these until I realized both the monitor case and the stand are steel. I used magnets! They work great. I am planning to use these for flight simulator games MFD panels. Haven't quite figured that out yet. I bought two of them! They can be powered by USB or an included adaptor. That allowed me more to play with! So far I am happy with these and have not had any issues.

Decent device for the size and price.
for me, picture did have a slight fuzzy when used a second screen. It had a good picture with raspberry pi zero w2. Use as a TV wasn't bad. sound was good for all. One thing sound did not come thought when used on the PS3 when playing a game.

Very Handy size
I bought it to program a security system and it worked great. I would not want it any smaller or it would be hard to use the mouse . I would recommend and i would buy it again.

Works right out of the box
Just add USB power and HDMI connection and it works straight out of the box. Acts just like any other monitor, just a little smaller. I'll be using it to display my CPU/GPU temperatures, etc on my PC (with an App). The monitor is solidly built with a metal casing and the controls are easy to locate and intuitive to use. A nice touch is the 1/4" tripod socket underneath - I have the monitor on a small desktop tripod. All-in-all it works really well.
