Works like a power steering pump...
I put this on our 2009 Outback about a month ago and it fit and works just like it is supposed to. Doesn't require a lot of mechanical ability to install but if you are unsure about how to do it or whether you want to tackle it there are some good videos on YouTube that should answer your questions. The pump itself arrived quickly, was new and replaced the old leaking pump without a problem. The local shop wanted $780 to do the job.

Bad product. Didn’t fit my car
They said it will fit but it never did. Seller Refuse to return. First order didn’t arrive. Replacement arrived and was not the right one. Seller refuse to return the money.

dont waste your money!!!
The unit installed ok with no problems. But within 10 minutes of the car running it died, no leaks like others have reported in the reviews. Not really sure what happened to it. I will be returning this unit as soon as I can replace it. You would think in this day and age car parts would be better built. Anyway, stay very far away fron this product, its not worth the money!!!!!
