I’ll be real: installing these Cat 1 Quick Hitch Adapter Bushings came with a bit of a learning curve—and by that, I mean I hammered my thumb like I was auditioning for a slapstick comedy. Let me tell you, few things make you reevaluate your life choices like hopping around the garage while clutching your thumb. But let’s be clear: the pain was 100% operator error, not the bushings’ fault. Once I finally got the roll pin in (with slightly less brute force and slightly more precision), (hold it with needle nose pliers when you hammer it!), everything fit perfectly. These bushings added just the right amount of girth to my pins, and my quick hitch now holds my implements tighter than a toddler clings to their favorite toy. No more rattling, wobbling, or wondering if I’ll lose my plow halfway across the field. So, while my thumb might hold a grudge, I don’t. These bushings are solid, reliable, and worth the effort—even if you’re clumsy like me. Just maybe keep some ice packs on hand for installation day. Lesson learned: finesse beats force, but these bushings? Totally worth it.

Product is great but the delivery instructions were not followed. I have a bench that it could have been put on and be hidden well. But instead they put it by the door in plan sight.

These bushings can provide a little more contact area than regular bushings which may slide around a bit on the attachment pins. Note the inner diameter. Some attachments have different sized pins which must fit in the main hole. The mounting split pins are hard to start and an end of each split pin must be collapsed a bit to begin the fit. My bench vise didn’t work but a hydraulic wire terminal crimper was quick and easy. Once these bushings are installed your attachment it may not fit other quick mounts or 3 point hitches unless the split pins are knocked out and these bushings are removed. Extra split pins were provided. Best use is if you have multiple attachments, always use the quick mount, need inexpensive bushings and can’t keep track of a limited supply of loose bushings.

Be aware you should measure how -long- of the adapter you need. The smaller diameter of it. The base of it is thick so it takes up some of the room you may need. Greatly depends on where the roll pin goes in is how much left of where the jaws latch onto.
