this flat iron ,it is manufactured in china ,the quality is the same as italy's

I don't know if it is the same quality but, this is by far the best straighter I have ever used. I own a chi and a tyme iron and feel that the karmin is better.

Is it okay to use on wet hair?

Hello,You do not want to use a standard flat iron on wet hair. This will cause damage to your hair. There are special flat irons called Wet to Dry that are made for use on wet hair. Karmin currently does not have a wet to dry model.Thank youBen
