Why didn't I know about these years ago?! Trying to get trays or containers out of a counter top toaster oven has always been a hassle because oven mitts are so dang big to reach into that small space. Messes have been made. Now, with these grippers it is just too dang easy to reach in and secure the pan/tray/container and they're strong enough to carry the hot tray over to another counter top (these four-in-one new toaster ovens have a big footprint & eat up a lot of valuable counter top space). Anyway, these grippers are great for that AND makes it so easy to get a hot plate or bowl out of the microwave oven, also. The grippers aren't spring loaded so they stay in the "open" position when you're not gripping them...which makes it awkward to store them in my drawer. I just leave the grippers lying beside the toaster oven so they're always handy. They aren't pretty either, just a flat aluminum matte, but they are indeed awesome. I love them!

Fantastic so well built and easy to handle hot pot and tray inside of the oven I highly recommend them. I gave one to a friend of mine and he absolutely love he is also.

Spring loaded pliers for grabbing hot stuff in the oven / grill I do like the finger grips for extra leverage ! Work great for that...one flaw that others have mentioned is the fact you cant lock handles for storage...they stay open taking up extra space in the kitchen drawer Took off a star for the rough exterior, that will need care when cleaning to get everything off

I got these to pull pans out of the air fryer, especially ones with some grease in them. They grip to the lip very nicely and allow you to set the hot pan on the stove or some other surface. Made from cast aluminum, they are very sturdy and look like they should last a long time.

This is absolutely the best handle for handling large Dutch ovens that we use camping. I know that's not it's designed purpose but I've tried all designs and this is the one. It's large enough to get torque on the pot even when full. Because its spring loaded it's truly one handed. The little notch near the hinge even allows for grabbing the lid handle. The hook on the end of the handle keeps it from slipping out of hands and allows for carrying a heave pot down low or for moving around the coals.

Since Boy Scout Hot Pot Tongs are harder & harder to find. These are an absolute fantastic substitute. I haven’t used them with a pizza pan yet but I will. I use them all the time with my cast iron cookware. I actually prefer them to then BSA Hit Pot Tongs because of the large open loop in the handle. Sure grip. Open loop handle perfect for Dutch oven lids & skillet lids. Fantastic product. They have a good heft in the hand & feel rock solid. I’ve got several pairs of these now. In my kitchen, in my camp kitchen, in my Scout go bag. Very handy overall for a lot of cooking applications.
