For 20 bucks you could buy another set of pedals instead of worrying about replacing studs. **Q: is there allen on inside of pedal spindle (inside crank side) to install/uninstall? much easier than pedal wrench.** A: Yes, there is an Allen wrench access on the inside of the spindle. **Q: does quantity (1) mean 1 pedal or 1 set? How do I know if this is a left or right pedal. Not very clear.** A: It is a set of two. Nice quality and screws can be adjusted to the height you want. Pedals are screwed counterwise and I think they came marked right or left. Don't worry you will be happy with them. **Q: are these good for general in town riding or specifically for mtb trail or dirt biking?** A: They are sturdy and are highly effective at gripping all shoe types. While I predominantly use my bike off trail, I do ride a good bit on roads, and they work fine!!
