This cooling pad works great! Previously, the Samsung 970 EVO M.2 SSD drive in my laptop would get hot, about 65C, which seemed to slow down the performance. Now that I'm using the Coolertek pad, the drive stays at a comfortable 50-51C and performance is not reduced. The fans are fairly quiet. The pad is light weight and durable since the top mesh is made of metal. The bottom is made of plastic, but is sturdy. The four rubber feet on the bottom are nice and thick, and seem durable. I have had it a month with no problems, and bought a second one for my wife.This cooling pad works so well that I want to turn it off at times to save battery, and not cool my "lap" too much. It would be nice if there was a switch on the cooling pad to turn it off, instead of unplugging the USB cable repeatedly which could cause premature wear. I eventually bought a USB extension cable with an inline switch to control the power. This is not a major issue, and I give the cooling pad 5 stars.

My old pad died so I got this one to cool a Dell XPS 13 at the end of April, 2024. It is very quiet. The fans do an excellent job. I like the fact that they light up, meaning you can easily confirm that it is working. It weighs just a bit under 1 pound so its easy to put in my computer bag for travel. It is very well ventilated and does not get very warm. It is metal and has no traction features so my laptop has slid off of it twice (I am literally working with it on my lap.) My biggest complaint however is that the power cord is separate from the pad, meaning you have to keep up with it when you store it. My previous pad had a recessed track on the bottom into which you snaked the cord and everything stayed together and the cord was permanently attached. I looked for one like that this time but could not find one that I otherwise liked and that had a good price point. Overall I think this is a very good product. Seems well built and reliable.

My work laptop is super cheap and runs very hot. I had it propped up between two pads of paper to give some room for air circulation with meh results.This thing is cheap, flat, quiet and it works great. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Works great! I didn't want a big bulky cooling pad for my small thinkpad. This works great and keeps my laptop from frying my lap when using lol. Knocks a few degrees off the temps too when gaming.

My new 13.3" laptop gets very hot. I didn't know there was such a thing as a "cooling pad" until I saw it in the store when I bought the laptop. Thinking this is something I need, I went to Amazon. This one is less than half of what similar products were selling for where I bought my laptop. FIguring that I had little to lose for $15, I bought this. I'm THRILLED with my choice. This is lightweight, extremely quiet, and has completely solved the heating problem whether I have the setup on my lap or on a desk.My only complaint is that the metal mesh is so smooth, I was afraid that the laptop would slide off. To solve that problem, I put five rubber bands around it. Those created the perfect amount of traction without blocking airflow. Best $15 I've ever spent.
