I used bleach on my expensive orthopedic sneakers and the fabric reacted by turning black in spots. I didn't realize this could happen, but when I say black, I mean dark black on white shoes. They were cheap and turned out to have metallic glitter in them, not what I was after. I did some research and found a gal on YouTube that recommended these paints for doing a watercolor technique on fabric. These colors are very vibrant and offer good coverage compared to the cheaper set I bought before. If you water the paints down a bit, it doesn't change the feeling of the fabric. When you don't water them down (like the whites of the eyes in my painting) you do lose the feelings of the fabric, but the coverage is amazing. I painted the white over color that I accidentally got in the eye area. I can tell these paints are much higher quality and weren't that much more expensive. I am not a painter, but the watercolor technique is easy to replicate and looks awesome.
