Fray Bentos Steak & Kidney Pudding (400g) - Pack of 2

Fray Bentos steak and kidney pudding is very tasty and full of meat, unlike the pie version, where meat is conspicuous by its absence. The pudding can be cooked as a full meal with mashed potatoes and veg, or just by itself because it is very filling. I ordered a pack of four and they didn't last long and I was so impressed with the quality and taste that I intend doubling the order and getting 8 next time. A definite two thumbs up for this product.

Product excellent - however, one container received broken in package - had to throw away.

Tasty and will buy again. For me it is like a beef pot pie in a can. Great for camping because it does not need a freezer or fridge. Can cook in an oven. I like it for a quick breakfast. Delivery was problem free. Shipping took a few days but it came from merry Old England. Good Stuff. No worries..

all suet , and very little meat . Im from the Uk and these things are nasty. i wont buy again

I was excited when I discovered Steak & Kidney pie and puddings on Amazon. You don't need to bother with the pudding! I purchased two of each Puddings and Pies. The pies were good and I will purchase again but the puddings were a great disappointment. To much pudding pastry not enough meat, plenty of gravy but there was probably less that a teaspoonful of protein in the form of steak or kidney. A great pity because Fray Bentos is a household name in the UK and on this product it was a great let-down.

My English husband loves these. Adequate gravy and good flavor.

Beloved for many years, Fray Bentos tinned pies and puddings hit the spot. I used to get them at local stores, but now rely on Amazon.

Product arrived 6/10/22, having been opened for inspection as it was possible it contained goods of biosecurity concern. During inspection, no biosecurity concerns were identified. Product has not yet been tried by myself, but happy to receive it.

Evoked childhood memories of comfort

I bought the pack of 2 for £9, too expensive. I thought each one was a 400g package but this is the total weight for the two. Better buying the £6 which is 425g which is a better deal. More weight and £3 cheaper.
