Very spacious when opened up. Cushy bottom pad. Sturdy. Multiple access points to make it easy to stuff even the most difficult cat in. Vet was really impressed.

My spouse and I got two of these cat carriers for both of our cats (12 lbs female and 13 lbs male) for traveling in both the car and on the plane. Our cats have never really liked carriers because they’re so cramped, but being able to extend them, it’s made them feel comfortable to stretch out. We carrier trained them for about two months, giving treats and playing with them in their carriers. After the carriers became a safe space for them, we took them on the plane (Delta airlines), where they were comfy and really well behaved the whole flight (2 five hour flights). We were able to extend their carriers on all three sides to allow them full comfort while waiting in the terminal, and on the plane, we extended one side out to let them stretch out. They fit wonderfully under the Delta seats, and met the weight requirement of being under 20 lbs to include the carrier. When driving in the car, they were able to look out through the front end while I held them in my lap. Even with some scratching and a lot of weeble wobble in the carriers, the carriers have held up the entire time, and are still used with our cats normal sleeping spots. All in all, absolutely give this carrier 5 stars and recommend it to anyone with pets.

I had been looking for a dog carrier for a long time and this is the second one I got. First I got the Sherpa Original Deluxe Dog Carrier and my dog scratched it trying to get out and ultimately broke it very soon, so I had to buy another one. This one is so much better. It is very durable, it fits underneath the front sit in all planes I have been at, it is expandable so you can sometimes expand it once you are already sitting in the plane. My dog is a 18lb Maltese and it fits in this carrier. I would definitely purchase it again. I have already traveled with it in several flights and I highly recommend it.

Looked around for what I hope is the best expandable carrier on Amazon, and in general I'm very happy with this. The expandable sections have a nice softer mesh that tucks away nicely when closed, and the pad for the bottom is adequately soft and cushy. Good amount of openings ans ventilations, and I'm happy that even closed, it is roomier than some other carriers.The issues and improvements that could be made;- It does not have any seatbelt attachments. This can be "hacked" by pulling the seatbelt through the luggage sleeve on the back, so coupled with putting the shoulder strap behind a neck rest in a car, it's solvable.- The zippers, while nice, don't have the clips to join the two pulls that other carriers have, which means that a particularly insistent kitty could squeeze them apart if not monitored- It has a leash/harness hook inside, but it's too short! Doesn't allow for much movement once hooked in.- The pad's extension flaps (the ones that go in the fold-out sections) don't attach to the walls. They attach to the roof of the carrier, so when the extension flaps are folded down, they still block those areas...? Seems like a mistake.Again, it's so close to being perfect, but I can't quite justify 5 stars.

We took our 5 year old cat on her first airplane ride in this carrier and she loved it! It has several zippered window options to give the cat better views and air. It fit easily on top of our carryon bag and she rolled all through the airports, happy to see out and see us. I am extremely pleased with the quality and design of this carrier, she loves it and often goes in it to take her naps. Highly recommend this carrier for design, and durability. It fit easily under the seat as required by the airlines.

I used that to travel with my 17lb Jack Russell/pug mix across country. He fit right into it and had enough room for him to move around. Fit under seat in front of me.

We have two cats, and before getting this, we only had one hard carrier. This carrier is much better. It can be sturdy with firm walls or soft and foldable. The inside is cozy, the outside is easy to clean, and both of my cats love it. Despite hating going to the vet in it, my cats still love playing in it and are much calmer while traveling because they can see and smell us through the mesh, plus they have more room with all of the little extendable spaces. We even took our pet snake to the vet in it a couple of times because it can retain heat fairly well while still allowing movement and visibility. If my snake can't break out then no furry critters will. I highly recommend it.

I got this carrier when my puppy was 9 months old. This carrier is especially great for longer dogs. My dog was more comfortable because there are different compartments that you can unzip so your pup can have extra leg room while traveling.The inside is absorbent. My puppy didn't hold his pee the first time and there was zero leaking. I only knew because I touched the inside once we landed and it was damp. With that being said, if you are traveling with a young puppy I would recommend this product.The only tiny issue is that if you have the head compartment open while carrying your pet or rolling them on top of the luggage, he might slide more in the carrier or be uncomfortably attached to the luggage.All in all, I believe this carrier exceeded the needs of my puppy while traveling by being comfortable and l. I recommend this product for small pets.
