Aquila Reds aecGDA 133c Guitar Set A-Tuning Natural

These strings brought out wonderful tone from my modest Guitarlele. I also use Aquila gut strings on my viola da gamba, and rate them 5 stars.

These are the best strings for guitalele and ukuleles. Aquila red strings have the best sound. You will see the difference as soon as you you tune them up. They make your instrument louder with fuller tone, and they last pretty well. Be careful to stretch them properly as you tune them, they do break easily out of the package. But it’s worth the trouble! I won’t use anything else!

High A broke while tuning up to pitch. Poor quality. Plus the strings are literally red. They look hideous and could not achieve the A tuning as advertised.

Made in Italy with good quality. I have to pay attention of NOT buying Made in China with bad bad quality and let them use the profit from us USA to control the world. This set of strings only take about 24 hours to be stabilized and sounds much better than the white one.

I use these strings on an APC guitalele I bought in Portugal. Thanks to these strings, it’s now my go-to travel instrument. Having the guitalele in standard guitar tuning in just a heck of a lot more convenient than transposing things in my head, and these strings keep the tension and tone right! Great vibration and projection. The gauge of the wound strings is ever so slightly wider than standard guitalele strings, but this has posed no issue with the standard nut on my instrument.

I have both a Luna and a Flight 6 string Guitalele. They have always sounded just a bit flat and it gets worse If you try to tune to a guitar E standard. The Red series give a fuller richer tone. I makes both of my Guitaleles sound like a capo'd guitar... There is also a red series that is actually is just for tuning a guitalele to E standard and for someone with arthritis it's nice to strum the longer Luna as a guitar....... The sound is Much better It's worth changing strings. We actually have two of the Flight Guitalele's and my daughter has not changed her strings. Guess who always takes mine...

You can use these to convert your guitalele to standard six string tuning. G, B, and high E strings take some time to stay in tune, especially the G string, but the work.

Zugegeben diese Saiten sind nicht gerade billig, aber klanglich an meiner Yamaha GL1 nicht zu übertreffen! Ich habe nach den eher stumpf klingenden Originalsaiten die Nylgut-Saiten von Aquila (lila Verpackung) augezogen. Es war zwar eine leichte klangliche Verbesserung zu verzeichnen, aber überzeugt war ich nicht! Also habe ich es riskiert und die doch ziemlich teuren Aquila Red Serie bestellt und wie gesagt, ich war sofort begeistert. Der Klang ist nun viel klarer und hat viel.mehr Sustain. Klare reine Höhen schöne Mitten und ein klarer differenzierter Bastion zeichnen die Saiten aus! Wenn es etwas zu kritisieren gibt, dann nur, dass sich die Diskantsaiten etwas rau anfühlen, aber das gibt sich vielleicht noch nach einer gewissen Einspielzeit. Das ist jedoch Kritik auf höchstem Niveau. Ich bin vollkommen zufrieden und kann diese Saiten trotz des hohen Preises bedenkenlos empfehlen!

Me compré un guitalele Yamaha y aún no le había cambiado las cuerdas. Vale la pena ponerle cuerdas nuevas. Son blandas y mejoran bastante el instrumento
