Best bang for the buck!
My review is for the 27-inch Full HD 144hz (170 overclocked) Acer Predator monitor.Let me start off by saying I was blown away by the overall quality; When I unpackaged the monitor and took out the stand for the first time, I was very surprised at how solid and high quality it felt. The stand is definitely heavy, I'd say altogether it makes up about 80% of the 17 pounds the package weighed. Some may find that to be a problem, for me it felt like reassurance, reassurance that my monitor wasn't going anywhere but where I turn it once it's on that stand. The monitor itself seems to be high quality too, it's nice and slim, the picture is bright and clear and best of all it started right up once everything was plugged in. The responsiveness, outside of games or applications, just in general use like removing it from sleep mode seems to actually be much faster than my other monitor. Although overlooked by most, little things like this really make me appreciate the monitor even more. Now to help people decide if they should buy this monitor or a bigger screen and higher resolution for around the same price - It all comes down to the types of games you play. I can honestly tell you if you're playing games where you're averaging less than 80 fps the g-sync and 144hz refresh rate isn't that noticeable (If at all). I've been playing all sorts of games from fast-paced competitive FPS games like CS:GO to survival games like Rust all on a 60 hz monitor with 5ms response time for the past 8 years or so. After switching to 144hz, 1 ms response time I can honestly tell you it hasn't made that big of a difference. Personally, after trying 144hz compared to 60hz I'd appreciate a bigger canvas and a higher pixel density, it doesn't make a big enough impact for the price.THE VERDICT ----- 5/5Opinions aside, the overall quality of the product for the price is enough to give it 5 out of 5 stars. It's the cheapest monitor I could find that had G-Sync, 1080p (or higher) and at least 27 inches for $500 or less.

Worth the price
I finished setting them up yesterday and I haven't stopped messing with them since! They adjust easy and are crystal clear. My only issue is that the base doesn't lock properly so when I move the monitors there's a small chance that the base will fall off, but otherwise a great investment!

Product is great after long hours of using it no issues. Would definitely buy this monitor again if I ever need another one for my 2nd replacement monitor for my dual screen setup.

Bit of a letdown
Decent gaming monitor, but has a few issues.1) Viewing angle (above/below) is atrocious. Ive never seen any screen have such issues with such a minor change. Anything more than 30 degree and it becomes extremely noticeable.2) Dead pixel near the middle of the screen appeared roughly 6 months after purchase.

Bang for buck
The only bad thing is the price! After sobbing for watching my depleted bank account I got to install it and forgot my depresion. N-sync is just amazing (and this model is the less expensive one with N-sync) would muy it ten oit of ten time

Nicer coloring and viewing angles than what I expected
if you want a good gameing monitor this hits the spot at 144Mhz @ 27" (i have a nivida 970gtx with display port enabled and gsync on...btw there is a DP cable with unit which came nicely packedknocked it a star because usb ports on side are just not supported and to me a cost increase that should have been left off if they arent plug and play...by todays standards...I tried to find diff drivers for it...win 10 64bit..but after windows said i still had the most up to date driver installed i just said to hell with it...would have been nice but hey i didnt buy it for usb portsthis is my primary monitor now tho i allso have a 27" samsung for secondary viewing
