Harry Potter Hogwarts Slytherin House Crest Ceramic Mug, 14 Ounces

This is my favorite coffee mug to use. Keeps my coffee cold even while being occupied with other things, such as homeschooling. I often forget I made myself coffee and will run to my cup. Not often do I have to reheat my coffee. The design is nice and it’s a solid cup for the price. Can’t complain.

I have order many items from silver buffalo and normal everything’s to high standards but this time it wasn’t so great. The mugs are great and I have purchased multiple of this exact model but I am not sure what happened to their qc this time. There are multiple holes in the paint and glaze on the handle. The mug will end up breaking quickly as water enters the unprotected ceramic. Combined with ceramic is porous it’s not up to food standards. Having purchased easily two dozen cups and mugs this is the first time I have ever had grounds to complain. I gave them a high rating as the other Slytherin mugs I have purchased have been immaculate and well packed.

As someone who uses a daily mug for hot black coffee, I look for heavy-duty ceramic that retains heat well and can handle a dishwasher without the design flaking off. I've had this mug before and unfortunately it took a ten foot (yes, 10 foot) tumble and shattered to no fault of the mug itself. It's just your basic, every day mug except with a beautiful Slytherin design on it. I have no complaints.
