Even washable filters need replacing
While these are washable, they do need replacing every so often. I just replaced mine after about a year of use and noticed right away that my vacuum had less of a "pet smell" to it, which is exactly what I was hoping for. I bought this and a Hoover WindTunnel T-Series 1 HEPA Filter & 1 Carbon Charcoal Filter for my Hoover WindTunnel MAX Pet Plus Multi-Cyclonic Bagless Upright, UH70605 to help get rid of the pet smell it had picked up over time from cleaning my house with 3 dogs. After washing out the canister and hoses and it still had a smell, I realized I probably needed to get all new filters as well. Replacing this one in particular made the most difference. It was super simple to switch out. You just pop off the top part of the canister to your vacuum and lift out the old filter, then drop this one in. This filter does have printed on indicators to let you know which side is up, just like on the one that comes with your cleaner. It's an exact fit and works great!

I have to give seller a 5. But the item did not fit. Totally my fault. I did not ask the question of size/diameter. The one I need is smaller. When I searched for the part number I needed, It would always come to this filter, so I ordered it. (the number did not match the number I searched) The one I needed was a 1/2 inch smaller in diameter. Shipping was fast. Part was exactly as described.

Clean filters = greater suction power. Washable filterโฆ keep an extra on hand.
This was not a returnable item. I wasnโt happy I bought the wrong oneโฆ but it fit my other vacuum, so all is well! I like having an extra washable filter on hand so there is time for it to dry thoroughly between vacuuming. I have a large dog and vacuum frequently! Keep your filters clean and the suction is so much more powerful and it is better for the motor. Keep an extra filter on hand. Itโs worth it!!!
