Not Satisfied ...
Not Satisfied .. Purchased balls after reading several 5 star reviews ... Perhaps we received a batch of 'bad' balls .. but .. after using them for approx 2 weeks .. balls are losing their shape and becoming 'out of round' .... balls are becoming distorted .. when this happens balls take erratic bounces on the court .... very disappointed.UPDATE: Customer Service contacted me regarding issues. Replacement balls sent out and am currently using them... balls seem to be performing well .. upgrade rating in that customer service worked quickly to resolve issue .. they definitely stand by their product .. Would order products from them again knowing that they will quickly try resolve any issues.

Good ball
This is the private label from the company that until a month or so ago was making the Dura 40 ball used at a lot of outdoor tournaments. It plays exactly the same at lower price than the Dura ball I had always liked the Onix ball but have converted to liking this (and the Dura) ball best for outdoor play. Great customer service at Pickleball Central.

Excellent Ball
(THIS IS AN UPDATED REVIEW) Used in conjunction with a Ballport Hopper. Great ball. This is NOT a wiffleball! And, sorry, but all pickleballs are NOT alike. Play several times a week, and many of the players that I play with can tell the difference, even between brands, indoor and outdoor. And yes, pickleballs may cost more than tennis balls, but they're different animals. I've played tennis for years, and though the cost of a can of tennis balls may be cheaper (we used to buy by the case), after a three-set match, the tennis balls are not the same. The pressure is beaten out of them. So I was constantly buying tennis balls in a shorter amount of time. But right now, I'm still cranking the original pickleballs from June! I'll choose pickleball any time, and TOP (for me) fits the bill for consistency and longevity.

durability
I am a USAPA ambassador and I plan on introducing pickleball to my area here in Michigan to both young and old. I bought 5 dozen of the Top balls because I plan on using them with the Simon ball machine. My community in Florida has the same machine and they have had pretty good luck with them using the ball machine. They play similar to the Dura 40 but do not crack as easy. The only problem I find is the balls need to be used on the court until the glossy finish is scuffed off otherwise they do not work well with the machine and the machine kind of peels the gloss off into long plastic strings that look like dental floss and it gets wound around the wheels inside the machine.

The balls last longer than others
Top pickleballs are one of the best if not the best for playing pickleball. The neon color makes them easy to see with quick play. I've not experienced any cracking with the use of them during 12 games.Their my first choice now. I play with about 15 people and were using my top balls to play games.

Break quickly and easily.
Received 12 balls two weeks ago. 6 of 12 have broken. Weather has been pleasantly warm, not cold. I am an older 3.0 player who is not a big banger.I wonder why a company cannot make a reasonably durable ball for recreational play. Will consider purchasing another brand before the remaining 6 balls break over the next week or two. Disappointing....

Comparable to Dura Fast 40's
These are very similar to Dura Fast 40's. They do seem to have a slight bit stiffer/thicker plastic, and don't seem to bounce quite as high as the Dura's. It's subtle but noticeable. Seem to last just about as long as the Dura's too (5-10 games with heavy hitters)

Engineered for designed failure
Identical ball to the Dura 40 (Just a different stamp on the ball) and still the best ball for advanced players. Meets needs for bounce height and plays well until they crack. Be aware of breaking rapidly in cooler temps. The neon goes out of round much faster than yellow version. That said the neon has much better visibility . This is a reasonable price for this ball.
