The can is a good quality plastic. Though I wish there were more figures inside, my son loved it! The empty space gave him room to store his other Grossery Gang characters.

It did not come with a color changer. The surprise grossery was a common one. My 3 year old was disappointed. If you are looking for a color changer I would try something else.
