Recommend using, incredible product.
This has helped my dog with her mobility issues after an injury which cause her to be partially paralyzed. After a few weeks of this with crate rest and therapy, she was able to walk on her own. After taking this for continuously for over 6 months, my dog was able to jump on the couch. After a year of this, she was back to her old self. I think this made a huge difference in my dogs recovery.

Fantastic supplement
My frenchy had an episode of IVDD and after treatment with meds/rest, I decided to look into daily joint supplements. Iโm really surprised at the difference this has made. Not only is my dog doing very well but even her dry nose is no longer. I did get the capsules which are quite large but in a pill pocket she eats them fine. Definitely recommend this product.

Great Product
My dog has ivdd, and I think these helped a lot with healing his spine. It will never be the same, but he is stronger, and can walk and run now. The pills are giant, so I just take the capsule apart and empty the powder into his food. He's a voracious eater, so he has no problem with it. It digests easily and doesn't hurt his stomach.

I think it worked for my dog...
On November 7th, I woke up at 5:00 A.M. as usual and got my dog out of the bed. He is a 9.5 year old Cairn Terrier / Dachshund cross that we got from an animal shelter about 8 years ago. Even though his legs are short like a Dachshund, I swear they have built in springs and he could always jump 3.5 feet straight off the ground onto my bed or from a lesser height on to the couch. The problem is that he's always jumped OFF the bed (3.5 feet) for years even though he has stairs (he doesn't use them). I'd always commented to my wife that he would probably end up with joint problems one day. What I didn't realize was that he would end up paralyzed from a back injury. On November 7th, I got a quick (and traumatic) crash course in dog paralysis from disc problems in the back. As I said, I got him out of the bed. That morning, he did not jump from bed to the floor. I picked him up and sent him outside with his brother (a 10 year old Yorkie / Schnauzer shelter rescue) and he walked outside fine under his own power. When I went to let him in, he was dragging both back legs and couldn't move them at all. I rushed him to the vet who gave me the bad news. His two options were a $5,000-$6,000 back surgery with no guaranteed results, or crate rest and laser treatments. Given his age and the no guarantee of results, we opted for the less invasive treatment. Itโs important to know that even fully paralyzed, he never lost deep feeling in his paws (very important!). He stayed at the vet until Friday. I found these pills quite by accident while doing research on dog back injuries. I read the reviews and decided to order them for gigglesโฆif I got any benefit from them it would be an added bonus. He came home Friday, and the pills arrived on Sunday. I began giving them to him twice a day. Put a dab of peanut butter on the pill and he scarves it right down. After a week, his tail started to wag again (he couldnโt even move it.) After two weeks, he started moving one leg, and after three weeks, the other leg. At 4 weeks, he began walking again (very slowly and wobbly but walking on his own.) Now at 6 weeks, heโs running (if we donโt catch him in time) and has managed to jump on and off the couch again when we werenโt watching. Heโs still a little wobbly, especially in his right leg and the vet says he may reach a plateau in his healing and recovery. Iโm not sure if itโs the crate rest, the laser treatments (we did about 5) or the Vetri-Science. Iโm willing to say that the Vetri-Science at least partly contributed some to his recovery. Even if he never returns 100% back to where he was pre-injury, Iโll take it! Heโs mobile and can go outside and use the bathroom by himself. He gets around fine. We still crate him at night and when weโre gone. If weโre home, but not watching him, he gets crated. I canโt trust him not to jump up and down and heโs gotten his jumping skills back! Give the Vetri-Science a try! For this price, you canโt go wrong! (Important Note: We were originally giving it to him with wet dog food by sprinkling it on top of the food. Not sure if it was the food, the medicine, or both, but after two weeks we went through a 4 day period of diarrhea that was awful. He's always eaten dry food since we've had him, so we think the wet food was TOO rich for him. We started giving him the pill with peanut butter on it and he scarves it right down. He eats his dry food and takes the pill 2x daily and no more diarrhea since we cut out the wet food.)

Works
My 6 yo frenchie, Walter, was having issues with his hips. He was walking pretty wobbly in his back legs. I have bought this 3x and have noticed his gait improved to practically normal. I give half a tablet crushed up with his food. I will continue to buy this product as long as he lives.

I think it works?
One day my mixed pug & chiwawa started crying hiding under the bed in pain, took him to the vet & they told me that around the neck the disks were too close after paying over $300 for an x-ray, the vet told me I had two options. Option number one is he will need surgery that will & could go over $4,000 & wasnโt guaranteed due to him being small at the time. Option number 2 was as time went on it would only get worse not better, to put him down. So I did my research to find something better because there should be another way. So I came across this product. Specifically for what he needed. After the vet we were given painkillers to give the dog for only 2 weeks. The puppy sat in a crate to minimize moment when we were gone but outside when we arrived in our care, after 2 weeks, I started to give him these. Ever since then he hasnโt cried in pain or showed signs of discomfort till this day we still give them to him him on a daily basis. This is prolly our 4th bottle so Iโd say it works or atleast it works for him. The pills are not small so might have to force it or trick them into eating or swallowing, sometimes whip cream does the trick but hopefully this helps other fur baby owners in what they are looking for

Has made a noticeable difference in dogs condition
Canโt say enough about this product! We have a Viszla that is having spinal issues after rupturing a disc. We take her to a chiropractor and I told her I had her on this. She said to keep her on it for the rest of her life because it is definitely helping along with the chiropractic treatments. We live in an RV and she gets up and down the stairs with no issues! This is a definite must if your dog is having spinal issues to help keep them going.

Verdict still out; too soon to tell
The verdict is still out on this product. I have 2 mini dachshunds and one has the degenerative disc disease. He has already had a major surgery on his spine (Nov 2012) and the surgeon said she fixed it so that he would not be back for disc problems again. Oh well, so much for that, because he started howling in pain and couldn't walk, eat or move his head. My mom told me about this product almost a month ago and I ordered it immediately. I have been giving both dogs 2 a day; 1 with each meal. At the same time, his vet has him on Metecam and Tramadol so its hard to know which is working to help relieve pain. This product is to help build cartilage I believe so time will tell. Now, what I don't like is that it is in horse pill size capsules. How do I give this large capsule to my little dog? I open it and mix it into their food. Only way, otherwise, they wouldn't be able to swallow it. I will continue to give each of them 2 a day and will order another bottle. If, at the end of the 4th week on drugs, my dog is feeling better, I may try to slowly discontinue the drugs he is on but continue with the Vetri-disc. Again, time will tell but perhaps it could just be in powder form or smaller pill form.

Updated after 2 years of use
My spaniel dog had ruptured discs and went paralysed in back legs and now has IVDD. He had the operation and took 6 weeks to walk again. Heโs been on this for around a month now, together with Yumove. He does seem to be getting stronger. I will keep using this, just in case it is this that is helping. UPDATE AFTER 2 YEARS OF USE: My boy has become so much stronger and I think these really do help. I switched from Yumove to Glycoflex 3, so now use both VetriDisc and Glycoflex 3 and they really do help him stay strong and enjoy life.

It works for my elder doggie
I have been given this supplement to my 15 yrs old dog who is suffering from joint pain. This supplement was recommended by dogs volunteers that they found it works very well to many dogs. We did tried one bottle and now reorder the second bottle.

What my girl needed
When I found out my 4 year old frenchy had IVDD I immediate went online and after reading many reviews found these wonderful supplements, so happy I did! She's been on them for 6 months and we have not have any episodes, she has her energy back and engages in play again. Started noticing a difference after about 6-8 weeks. These are a staple for our girl and we always make sure we have full stock at all times! Waffles is a happy girl again :)

Great product, Quick results!
Our small dog suffered a neck sprain and was in massive pain. We could barely touch him, even sometimes he would look up a tiny bit and yelp in pain. We were thinking that surgery might be the only option. But we decided to make him a coconut oil/turmeric blend, combine it with green lipped mussels and these vetridisc pills. Within 1 week he was jumping off the couch again with no pain.
