My son is 6 1/2 years old, weighs about 60 pounds and a size 7/8 in clothes. We bought size small and they are the perfect length. They are a tad big in the waist but he wears a belt. The size XS were too short and just barely fit his waist. These will hopefully fit next year too if he doesn’t grow too much taller. Very nice quality with grips on the inside of the waist line. Definitely recommend.

Bought for my grandson, age 7, weight 61.8, height 51 inches. I ordered small because it said 51.5 - 55 inches. I thought, room to grow. They fit perfectly right now. He is thin with long legs. I'm doubtful they will fit next year.They look great! Seem durable, but he's only wore them twice now. They're black so I can't say anything about staining. He says they're comfortable. There's a small rubber like band on the inside around the waist I guess for anti-slipping. I thought he might complain about it but he says it doesn't bother him.

My son is tall and slim. I wish they were a little longer and tighter in the waist. They are a little short on him and the waist is very loose. We could not go up a size because the waist would be even larger.

These pants are the perfect fit. Quality is great and they are durable.

Pants were better than expected. Thick but breathable material and wash well.
