Amazing Life Span
I have used about 10 of the 100 thus far and each has stayed lit for at least 48 hours or even beyond 72 hours. Brightness hasn’t even dimmed at all until well after 24 hours. Considering the low cost and 100 count pack, I feel the product performs well beyond expectations. Fantastic!

Amazing LED lights
Love love love these. Bought to put inside paper cage and it looked great. Arrived super fast, very bright, most lasted a couple of days. I hot glued them on the paper cage. And you can break them apart and re-use with new batteries.

Love love love
I bought these to put in small mason jars to be hung from trees outside at a party I had. I bought the small Mason jars and didn't realize that tea light candles wouldn't fit. I found Neo Loons and they worked perfect!! I started putting the Neo Loons in my plants, up the walkway, on the mailbox (we have a plant on top) and through out my yard, it looked amazing in the dark and made my party magical! I also used them for our Church Party, which was outside and it looked awesome too!! Every time I use them, everyone asks about them. I've bought these lights 4 times and will continue to buy them. I love them!! Five stars because they are cheap but make an amazing impact, they last a long time (some were going 1 week later) and they are just as described. I was pleasantly surprised! Some of the lights didn't work when you pulled the tab but it didn't matter because there are so many in a bag (100)...if you need 100 little lights to ALL work, then buy 2 bags (they are inexpensive). Some of the ones that didn't work just needed to be flicked but some didn't come on at all (maybe 5-10 out of each bag, at most). That's the only negative! They look great in flower vases too! Pictures don't do them justice because they aren't at night (in flower pots, on desert table under burlap, on photo booth in jars and anywhere that needs to be highlighted at night)!!

Amazing addition to the party!
I used these for a new years eve party with around 200 teenagers and they were a huge hit! I bought green, blue, and red and put them in white opaque balloons filled with helium. When we turned the lights off I couldn't believe how amazing everything looked. They are very bright and last for a really long time. At this party they only lasted about 7 hours because when it was over all balloons were popped and glowing balls were quickly gathered up or stepped on by all the kids. I had so many people coming up to me asking where I got these so they can go get their own for parties. I would definitely recommend them! My only complaint is that out of the 300 balls I bought, not all of them worked. In each of the 3 bags there were around 3-5 that didn't work at all. But to me this is such a small number that their still worth the price. Also they are not super durable. They worked great in the balloons with no problem being shook around but once kids started playing with them they came apart pretty easy.

bright long lasting - no attachment point
Bright when new and I have one running as a test - It's on its third day and still glowing but somewhat dimmer - sure surprised me. I do wish I had understood these have no means to string them or attach them to something. I had hoped to string several together to put into small paper lanterns my son bought. Guess I could attach with a glue gun. Still pretty fun little lights for a very modest cost. 1-31-17 update thetrial light has been left on since I first posted this review - it is still giving off a small amount of light - amazing duration for such a little unit and batteries.

Great for decoration, not so great for general lighting
My wife got these for a backyard party for our son. The lights are round and drop into balloons (not included in the package). Each one is as bright as a mini-flashlight, so they'll put out quite a bit of light. Drop one or more in a balloon and blow it up. Tie it off, and you're done. Easy. However, the light is exactly one half of each spherical light. The battery is in the bottom, so the light shines up into the balloon. Add one to a balloon and you have a small lantern. In my opinion, thicker, more translucent balloons work better then transparent balloons, if you want bright objects as markers. The transparent balloons work better for light, but they're not very bright. They're great as decoration, not so great as the sole source of light. One funny thing to be aware of: since the lights are round, bumping the balloons (or a slight breeze) makes the light roll around inside. This is fun at first, but it can make for a flickery, distracting annoyance, after a bit. Also, the batteries last quite a while, so save the tabs, and you can re-insert them and use the lights again (probably quite a few times).

Great lights!
**Photos: Keep in mind, ALL of the light is from the lights in the balloons. ALSO, not all of the balloons have lights in them. It's fairly apparent which ones do and don't.** Some people have reported lights not working, or fading quickly, etc. And it's true, chiz does happen. But my experience has been wonderful! Of the 100 pieces, only about three had issues. One of them didn't work, and the other two had bad connections, but with finangling I did get them to work. They were all still quite bright after 24 hours. Some a bit more, some a bit less, but only a handful, maybe five or six, were dim enough to not be worth keeping. I pulled them all out of the balloons and put the little separators back in and tossed them in the freezer, so we'll see what kind of shelf life they might have in the future. I'll update if/when I use them again. On a side note, I kept one of the dimmest, but still working lights on. I used them on the 14th, it's the 27th, and the light is still a-goin. Granted, not bright at all. Hardly more than a pinprick, but that it's still on is something. (this guy ended up lasting for about 6 weeks! Albeit getting dimmer, but still!) The only con? Maybe a quarter or so of them didn't have completely smooth shells. So if I got the balloon too big, it did have a higher pop risk. I figured it out pretty quick. Got hold of my handy-dandy finger nail clippers, and just ran my fingers over the outside and snipped off any prickly bits. It wasn't much work. Still totally worth the effort.

So they may not be good for something you need to stabilize
These are brighter than others I have tried, they last 2 to 3 days or more, however, the brightness lessens. The downfall is that these are very small and should not be in reach of small children. (They are about the size of a small marble.) Another downfall may be that they cannot be strung. So they may not be good for something you need to stabilize. They are perfect for balloons, vases etc. I bought them to be placed on top of feathers in a Eiffel tower vase, this is not ideal for that. Overall, it is a good product
